Oakview Dermatology - Fort Mill, SC

I’ve brought my kiddos to this clinic for three years, and have always been satisfied by the nurses and doctor. The front desk has always been mediocre at best. For our last appointment, I called on the way in because we were stuck in traffic and would likely arrive 10 minutes late. I explained where we were in relation to the clinic, and was informed of the 15 minute policy. When we were approaching downtown Fort Mill we can upon another traffic accident, causing us to arrive 18 minutes late. Oakview chose to remain firm with the 15 minute rule, which I understand but had hopes they would work us in being that I called in route and the sirens from the first responders were audible in the lobby as they reacted to the accident so near the clinic. Ironically, they found time to ask the staff to renew our prescriptions, which was the purpose of the appointment, but apparently not time to quick grab my daughter. What I found absolutely ridiculous was the clinic’s refusal to provide a school note. They were firm that because we were refused by the staff to be seen, that they would not verify that she was at the clinic for an appointment. After 3 years of appointments at this clinic, we will search for a dermatologist with reasonable customer service.

Her professionalism and compassionate care made me feel comfortable and confident in my treatment. The office staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth and stress-free visit. . Upon entering the office, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and its beautiful appearance. The warm and welcoming staff greeted me with genuine friendliness, leading to a wait of no longer than five minutes before I was ushered in to see the doctor. Every member of the team exuded professionalism and kindness, attentively addressing all of my inquiries. I had a wonderful experience and I’m thankful for finding this dermatology practice.

The new assistant to the doctor, who is being trained, whose name, I can't remember was very kind, polite and very friendly smiley. Also, the lady doctor was clear in her procedure Overall, it was a great experience.

I saw Dr Joint and she was very good! She listened to my situation and was able to give me instant diagnosis and prescribed me the medication that I needed to get rid of my Eczema. During follow up she revisited my affected areas and informed me of what to continue doing going forward. She answered my questions and I didn’t feel rushed.
