Wellness Institute

I have had recent PT for a torn rotator cuff issue at another location, and realized I should have gone to the wellness institute instead of the closest PT site. What a mistake! So I started another round of PT and wow….the difference in therapists was astounding! Sophia Busch my therapist here; was extremely thorough in analyzing my numerous issues. My shoulder blades were not functioning properly (most common cause of shoulder problems). She felt the mechanics of my movements and I started finding some relieve from the pain at my first manual manipulation session. I’m almost at full range of motion again, and all due to her constant analysis of my progress and specific exercises. She has performed taping, cupping and dry needling with stems treatments, which have been very helpful in speeding up my recovery process. I can’t rave enough about her help! I will say this is the second injury I’ve been to the wellness institute for, (prior visit was for back problems which I received immediate relief at my first visit!) For myself, this will be the ONLY place I will EVER go to for any future PT, massages, dry needling etc! They know what they are doing here, and it’s not just a bunch of exercises and they don’t watch you. Sophia is always checking that I’m doing the exercise properly, feeling the shoulder blades and that they are engaged properly, and monitoring for fatigue or pain levels. She is extremely thorough and super pleasant!!!! Wish I could clone her for home! Thank you wellness institute for hiring the best staff, including your front desk team! All the folks I have talked with have been super friendly and very helpful! I love this place!!!!

I want to give Wellness Institute and especially Richard Spector the highest kudos possible. I've now seen Richard for 2 shoulder replacements and I've not found a better physical therapist. Both times I have asked Richard to really work me hard as I wanted to get back to all the racquet sports I play as soon as possible. Richard knew how much to push me and it's something I have appreciated beyond measure. His knowledge of how the shoulder would need to be rehabilitated has put me weeks ahead of where I thought I would be. This has been mentioned by my Doctor when I've gone in for follow-ups. I very much appreciate the work being done by Wellness Institute.

I came to the wellness institute with acute hip pain and worked with Richard Spector for 6 weeks. He was amazing to work with, constantly changing the the exercises, thinking of new ways to strengthen my entire hip. I am now able to plan a knee replacement, and I am looking forward to working with him again!

I have never enjoyed physical therapy before visiting the Wellness Institute. I genuinely looked forward to my sessions. Richard tailored workouts and stretches specifically to me; he helped me reach my goal of getting back on the basketball court by personalizing basketball-specific workouts to rehab my shoulder. I am back to playing basketball at full-strength, and lifting weights with a more firm foundation due to his knowledge and personalized lifting plan that he build for me. This is the best experience I've ever had with physical therapy. Richard and the rest of the staff are incredible!

A recent severe Sciatica flare up required my need for physical therapy. Several years ago, I utilized the Wellness Institute and as was the case then as now this facility has all the latest equipment for those needing physical therapy. Perhaps more importantly this facility's staffing is outstanding. Case in point, my physical therapist Ms Sophia Bursch. I could hardly walk when I was taken under Ms Burschs' care. After several weeks of therapy I'm back playing golf. No pain. I'm 75 yrs old. I call her my miracle worker !!! Yes I would highly recommend the Wellness Institute. Final comment....Everyone smiles there. That says a lot to me.
