My son has some serious psoriasis going on and bad acne. I was very nervous about this place when I walked in because I saw products for sale. I was worried it was gonna be one of those yeah you need to buy this and that and that. While yes, I am willing to buy whatever is needed to help my teenager get some relief but I find the last place we went to was more worried about selling us products than helping my son. That Dr. even suggested we buy something that has almond oil in it for my son’s scalp. My son is allergic to all nuts. That made me feel like we were just another potential sale and that they were not really trying to help my kid. We saw Dr. Daniel Grove at Epiphany and I was highly impressed. I love that he has an extra specialization in pediatrics. He listened, he was engaged and he really broke things down for us. Having a medical background I knew a lot of what he was saying but my 14 year old didn’t. Dr. Grove took the time to make sure my son understood and could help with managing his own care. He was polite, respectful, informative and his bed side manner was top tier. He really just took the time to listen . We didn’t feel rushed but instead we left feeling positive and like we could get on top of this stuff. For that I am thankful!
2 words: Dr Grove. Definitely the best derm provider I’ve ever come across. Very knowledgeable and he goes the extra mile every time. Very happy with my experiences this far. I didn’t spend the bulk of my time waiting to be seen, which was awesome. I left with a understanding of what I needed to see results to my concerns. I live 900 miles away from this office but I’m going to travel to get my concerns addressed at this office EVERY TIME :-)
This is about Excellence; Jan 6th 2025, I had to reach out, no longer able to deal with an itchy rash on my arm. Every person I talked with [on phone or in person], were friendly, professional, answered questions, and listened. Starting with Ashley, initial contact on the phone and when I checked in, she is outstanding; Faithe, lead me to a room, asked and answered questions, friendly and professional; Dr Grove, was friendly, professional, put me at ease with my condition-thank you; Kelly, the next day I called with a question, few minutes later I had an answer. Each one of you embodied the finest traits needed for this work, and to the staff I didn't meet, with so many staff of an exemplary caliber that I did meet, I am sure y'all too have those fine traits. Thank you Epiphany Dermatology! And thank you for having these wonderful people in one place. Sincerely, Robert Shanks
I'm so happy I found Dr. Daniel Grove. I suffer/deal with poriatic arthritis for years. I thought I would perhaps look for some new advice. Fresh eyes in a way. The office is great. Miss Krystal was very professional. Just felt cared for on my first visit. With my circumstances I am self pay and the office visit pricing is fair. I'm on my way to better health. Thank you all. I scheduled an appointment and received approval the next day. I was called as a reminder and asked about my insurance. I explained to the representative that I didn't have my physical card but had Medicaid and the approval letter with all my details. The representative assured me that was fine, and we ended the call. However, on the day of the appointment, when I provided my insurance information, the representative informed me that they don’t accept Medicaid because it's out of network. Why wasn’t this clarified earlier, before booking and confirming the appointment? I was really frustrated, especially since I don’t have a car and relied on Uber to take my children and me. The front desk staff didn’t try to accommodate me at all. She simply said the cost would be $200 for the visit and $150 for follow-up appointments, without asking if I was willing to pay or offering any options. She just assumed I couldn’t afford it. This appointment was for my son, who has a skin condition, and I’m new to the area. It ended up being a waste of time and $40 for the Uber ride. I really wish they had told me they don’t accept Medicaid when they called to confirm the appointment. I had to wait 15 minutes for my Uber back home, and no one checked on us. Unfortunately, I can’t say this was a positive experience.
