Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - West Columbia

Members of my family and I have been going to this practice for years. They are very efficient in sending appointment reminders and checking in the patients. The staff and doctors have always been professional, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!

They obviously are not actually reading these reviews. I haven’t even made it into the office yet and I scheduled about 2-3 months out. The morning of my appointment I get called to say my provider wasn’t coming in and they would call to be rescheduled. It’s been a week with no phone call. I call back today (a week after my scheduled appointment) and can’t be seen for another 2 months. This is horrible customer service and I’ve been so turned off by this office. If you ever get an appointment good luck.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson's for many years. She is very knowledgeable, conscientious and caring. She is always willing to listen to my concerns following up with appropriate treatment. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Palmetto for over 20 years and have never had a scheduling problem until today. Appears that the scheduling is now handled by outside group by the name of Advanced Dermatology. This is a disaster. When you call the office number, to schedule an appointment, the phone line will drop you off. Advanced stated that they could not make an appointment. This is another example of incompetence that we see more of every day.

Everyone that I dealt with was dedicated and professional from the front office to nurses, aides, and physicians... They could be a bit more forthcoming about the procedure for closing a Mohs surgery lesion on an eyelid... somewhat complicated procedure....
