This place is terrible with all the sitting around and laughing and joking by the staff, the poor communication between staff members, the girls up front who never smile, and the impossibility of reaching an actual live person when calling into this office. I will never again return to this dump!
I left my appointment quite shocked, disappointed, and frankly just irritated and insulted. I felt my visit was a complete waste of time and I lost two hours of work to go see this doctor. I will not be returning and I do not recommend Dr. Sitabkhan. She spent less than 15 minutes with me which was so disappointing. I have serious concerns about my skin and I left her office with no answers whatsoever. She walked in and shined a light on my face and immediately started discussing my oily skin which was NOT a concern of mine. She was talking extremely fast and within 3 minutes told me she was writing me a prescription to control the oiliness on my face. I swear my jaw was on the floor and I know the look on my face was not a pleasant one. She then proceeds to tell me to use a sunscreen. There was nothing she told me that google had not already told me. She did not address the discoloration I have on the contour area of my face nor did she address the burning sensation I have or the scaliness. Even more importantly, my entire pubic area is white, the skin is flaking and it’s caused horribly ugly discoloration. I informed her that this started a few years ago and now it’s spreading. It’s even going up toward my abdomen. This doctor took one look at it, told me it was dry skin and that I needed to wash with dove and use a cream on the affected area. I could not believe what I was hearing and I was so upset I wanted to get up and walk out right at that moment. I started questioning her. Why would dry skin be spreading over my body and discoloring my skin? So she tells me that I need to just wash with dove and use an over the counter moisturizer for 6-8 weeks and if there’s no improvement she can run test to see what the issue is. Why not run them now? Why let me suffer and my condition worsen for 6-8 weeks instead of getting to the bottom of it now? As I told her I’ve been using creams on it for years now and it’s just getting worse. I don’t believe for one second that plain dove and cream are going to fix this issue. It’s much deeper than just dry skin. I won’t be picking up the prescriptions she sent for me. It’s for itching and I did not mention itching to her! She asked if it itched and I said yes but I wasn’t there for the itching. I’m going to another doctor to get a second opinion. I felt rushed, I did not feel that I was listened to, and I don’t feel she really cares. I left with a bag of dove samples and spf samples. This was a literal joke and it’s very sad. I went to her in hopes of getting answers and I left with NONE! Just diagnosed with “ dry skin” which is utter nonsense. I’m so upset. I’m insulted that this woman just shined a light on me and diagnosed me within 5 minutes of seeing me. No skin samples, no test, no thorough exam! I do not recommend her at all.
The only complaint I have is with front desk- nobody answers calls-I've called about 4 times and left vcmails -no answer or call back. Unable to reach a live person. Dr. Curtis is great, very patient and knowledgeable. I've been seeing him for a few years and he's always been very helpful.
This clinic is fantastic. Last time when I came here to check my baby’s eczema ,Dr Curtiss and his staffs Stephanie and Adrain were so friendly to my baby ,i always want to smile when I talk to them .Today my visit was for remove a mole on my neck,I am always very sensitive to pain and I was so anxious about it would hurt .Surprisingly, the mole got removed literally in 30 seconds and I didn’t feel anything . Dr Curtiss and his staffs are awesome !
Had a good visit with Dr.Curtis, but the antibiotics that were prescribed haven’t quite been working, so I called to see what next steps are because the infection is still painful. The medical assistant line never picks up and even with vm I never got a call back.. would have liked to come back but the lack of communication is frustrating as a patient.
