I am almost a week post-op after receiving FFS surgery from Dr. Amirlak. I cannot say enough positive words about Dr. Amirlak and his entire team; they are simply amazing. The communication, compassion, competence, and overall commitment to making sure I had a great experience and outcome was second to none. I felt appreciated, respected, and well informed every step of the way. On surgery day, Dr. Amirlak's easy confidence set me at ease. I still have some healing to do, as it has been less than a week, but I am already so excited with the outcome.

I had FTM top surgery with Dr. Amirlak, and I could not be more pleased with my results. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a surgeon. During my consultation, he took a long time to explain detailed surgical techniques, go over specifics of the procedure, and answer all my questions. I did not feel rushed or ignored. The entire process, from the initial consultation to the post-operative appointments, was easy and streamlined. His administrative office was exceptionally helpful in making sure everything went smoothly. Dr. Amirlak, Ms. Mendez, and his staff bent over backwards to accommodate my tight schedule. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable, the UT Southwestern plastic surgery clinic was efficient and clean, and my appointments were always held on time. The surgery itself was low stress thanks to the professionalism of him and the surgical staff. My results are clean, even, and tailored to my body. He took the shape of my chest and musculature into account to create a natural appearance. Throughout the healing process, any questions I had were answered quickly. I am very glad I chose him as my surgeon, and I am very grateful he offers this procedure that exponentially increased my quality of life as a transgender man.

This Review is long overdue but I had MTF breast augmentation done in 2022. Dr.Amirlak made me feel extremely comfortable and the results were amazing. I get complemented on my breast all the time.

Dr. Amirlak is a life savior. I had consultations with several other surgeons for FTM Top Surgery, and when I found Dr. Amirlak and his team, I knew he was the one I was looking for. My chest came out perfect. No issues. No complaints. His staff is absolutely immaculate. They're all very organized, such SWEETHEARTS, and kind. Every single person made me feel comfortable and safe, I didn't have a single doubt or worry. I had FTM top surgery with Dr. Amirlak in December, and I couldn't be happier with the decision to work with him and his team. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and respected. I know consultations can feel awkward, but they made it as easy as possible. He's very genuine and will tell you the exact risks and and success rate of different incision options. He really cares about his work and your satisfaction with your results. The day of the surgery, everyone was still just as welcoming. They talked through everything that would be happening and made me feel great and safe about the procedure. They were also able to update my parents who had come with me as things happened. Im a little over three months post-op and everything looks great so far. My Incision and placement is even and everything is healing nicely.
