Baylor Scott & White Clinic - Gatesville

New to the area, I was easily able to make an appointment online and found several openings within a few days' time. Staff were friendly, and though the clinic looked busy, I was a tally taken back early. I had a checkup and labs done all in the same day with no waiting. The doctors and nurses were skilled and efficient, but took plenty of time to talk with me and listen to my concerns. Quality care.

I have been with BS&W over 4 years and all my Dr's are in Temple which is a 50 mile drive one way. I contacted the Gatesville clinic and asked if I could change my PCP to them and it was done quickly and without issues. The lab techs are amazing...never even felt the stick. Nurses are friendly and very attentive. My PCP is wonderful (Dr. Pritchard). I loved my PCP in Temple, but being able to get care closer to home is something I really needed and appreciate the Clinic and Staff for making it happen.

This used to be one of the best places to go in town for the dr. They do not respond to messages you send to them on your mychart, they don't want to send you referrals unless you make another appointment with them just to pay them more money. It took them over a week and then having me call them just to find out whats going on just for them to say, "oh I will mark it as a priority." Then just say i have to make an appointment. They have called me a bad parent because my child doesn't want to go there, and have his appointment with them ( apparently a good parent would force their child into somewhere there didn't feel comfortable with drs they didn't want to be around 🚩🚩🚩) Stay far away from this clinic

Yes DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC UNLESS YOU WANT UR PERSONAL INFORMATION GIVEN OUT OR IF U WANT TO HAVE UR APPOINTMENT CANCELLED AND THEY STILL CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE AND INSULATE YOU ABOUT YOUR MEDICAL CONSTITUTION AND THE Supervisor Alecia call you names and be a very unprofessional. I will never step foot in the clinic again

My brother saw Doctor Jessica Christian on 12/12/23. He was complaining of dizziness and weakness and explained he had tennitus. She never checked his ears. He told her he was afraid that whatever he has is going to kill him. She told him that “we all have to die,” and that It’s in God’s hands,” and basically did nothing. I am now sitting in the emergency room with him. So far the doctor has said he had damage to his ear, and very high blood pressure. I am a Christian woman, but I don’t think her words were appropriate. Upon speaking with others in the area, I have found this is her common practice. Thanks for nothing. It is a sad world we live in when we have to be in the ER to be taken halfway seriously. Do not send me a message asking for more info. You should’ve been that inquisitive at the appointment.
