Alva Family Practice

I walked in to discuss weight loss! Before we even discussed that we discussed my health issues and meds! I have never had a Dr do that! But George did! He ran several test and we found several minor issues that could be fixed by meds and started me on the right path to feeling better!! Then the weight loss was discussed! He has become more than just a PA, he has become my primary dr on my insurance, he has taken over my mental health and pain management so he knocked to drs at once! He is prompt to text messages back, he even sees my husband now!! He is amazing! He staff is amazing!! Thank you George for showing me what I have been missing all these years with seeing a regular doctor!! You did more for in two months then I have down in 39 years!! And you are amazing as a person and PA and you do go above and beyond!!! *****

I came in feeling very horrible. George put me back up to speed and very thankful for Alva Family Practice. I highly recommend everyone to see them. They are truly THE FIXER OF EVERYTHING. Dr. Alva and his staff have changed the way health care is provided. Dr Alva listens to his patients and treats us with great care and understanding. He's never in a hurry to rush to the next patient and shows great compassion when treating. He truly the best doctor I've ever had the privilege of seeing. Anyone needing an exceptional doctor should definitely go see him. Our while family absolutely loves him. Thank you Dr Alva for treating us as family.

I really can’t say enough good things about Doctor George and his staff. When I say this man goes above and beyond for his patients I mean it. The level of care is top notch and he’s incredibly down to earth. I’d been down for about a week and a half with a sickness that turned to pneumonia and was trying hard to avoid the ER. My chest was heavy, I was having trouble breathing, my heart felt like it was gonna pound out of my chest, my chest and upper back were sore from the amount of coughing and trying to breath normally, I couldn’t swallow much so I was pretty dehydrated and I was feeling worse and worse. I sent him a text, he got me in right then. I got there at 9:30 PM. He got me fixed up with an IV packed full of everything I needed to feel better the next day and ordered meds for the next few days to supplement. Long review, but I’m super grateful not just for keeping me out of the ER but for a doctor that listens when I say something is wrong and I’m not getting better. Love them.

I was coming in from working out of town and immediately booked an app with doc. My throat was in pain, it hurt to swallow and I was miserable. He said my throat was almost shut. He gave me a shot and that same night... It started feeling WAY better. He didn't play no games, immediately fixed the issue. Oh, I also found out that my body doesn't process Vit B with him and he told me which vitamins to buy. So I'll keep coming to doc cause he's already gained my trust, plus he's always smiling and has a great attitude and takes his time talking to you!
