Dr. Denton Watumull, M.D.

I'm a recent patient with Dr Watumull and I can't not say enough about the positive experience I had with he and his staff! I went in to Dr Watumull with very large breast and ugly scars from previous surgeries and could barely look at myself in the mirror. Dr Watumull performed an explant and revised my scars and I'm finally feeling confident again! Every step of this process he was very thorough and patient with all of my questions! The staff also provided me with an abundance of patience and kindness! I would go back only to Dr Watumull for future procedures!

He took the time to understand my goals around my breast revision procedure, answer all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. Dr. Watamull is the epitome of professional, kind, respectful and a doctor that takes time to talk to you, listen and make sure you understand, are comfortable and choosing options that are best for you. If you are not a good candidate for something he won’t do the procedure. That spoke volumes to me. His work is impeccable. I have been to three other plastic surgeons. Dr. Watamull is in a league of his own. He was highly recommended, and I am thankful I can highly recommend him as well.

I’m not typically one to write a review, but since it was the reviews that brought me to Dr. Watumull and his amazing staff, I felt inclined. When I first started looking for a surgeon, my plan was to remove my implants, get a breast lift and see about fixing a lump I had over one side of my c section scar. Being new to the area, I had no one to turn to for a referral. I made 4 consultation appointments in hopes of finding one that would be a good fit. Dr. Watumull was my first and last! I could tell right away that he was an exceptionally brilliant doctor, beyond experienced and very good at what he does. He listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to convince me otherwise. He took his time to give me his professional opinion and thoroughly explain what I was dealing with. I am 41 and have had 3 children. I had to have all three via c-section. Over the years I had been dealing with some issues that I didn’t realize could be related. Until meeting with Dr. W I was unaware that I had a pretty bad umbilical hernia and my abdomen had been separated nearly 2 inches from bottom to top. I was pretty adamant about not having a tummy tuck. I’ve had a few friends that have had it done and I wasn’t a fan of the results. Dr. W didn’t try to convince me or pressure me at all! He simply explained what it would do and what my results would be. I trusted him and decided to have the “mommy makeover.” I had my implants replaced with much smaller ones, a breast lift and a hybrid tummy tuck. The recovery was brutal! However, I am 6 months post op and can say with full conviction, that it was so WORTH IT! I didn’t realize how much the top of my abdomen poked out until now that it doesn’t. I haven’t had a waistline like this since I was 20! I have been self conscious about my breasts for 15 years! I was a 32 DDD and couldn’t wear anything without a bra. I even had to wear a sports bra to bed to be comfortable enough to sleep. Now I don’t even own a bra. It’s amazing! I finally feel like my old self and not just a mom. I haven’t had self confidence like this in a very long time. My back pain is 100 times better and now that my abdomen is back together, I sleep through the night without waking up to pee 3 to 4 times! Also, I made through the Texas heat of summer without any sweat stains under my boobs! All my friends who have had the same procedure are jealous! My scars are barely visible at just 6 months post op. They plan to travel from Newport Beach to Dallas to have Dr. Watumull preform scar revisions over the summer. My husband was pretty hard on me about the expense of it all in the beginning, but now he’ll be the first to say that it was well worth it! I think he’s even happier about the results than I am! I’ve had a couple of concerns along the way that were immediately put to ease by Dr.’s nurses. I was even able to text pictures and get immediate assistance while I was out of town. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Watumull, his nurse Amber and the rest of his incredible staff!!!

Dr. Watumull is amazing. He removed my implants after 17 years. I love my results. He made me feel so comfortable and listened to my concerns. The staff were friendly as well. Great experience!
