I was able to see Dr. Kien Tran and his PA on a same day appt as a new patient, and they took care of a few things I needed done quickly. I had a full body skin check done and at least 12 skintags removed by electro-desiccation. Plus, he prescribed some scar creams that we ordered through a derm specialty pharmacy for my foot. FYI, the skintag removal was not covered by insurance, but it was super affordable. I am impressed with the staff as well as the excellent care provided by the Liberty Derm team.

I don’t normally rate 5 as most everyone can improve and 5 Stars are often overused but I’ve been so impressed with Liberty Dermatology that I can’t think of a reason not to. Well organized, efficient, and comprehensive is how I’d describe the practice along with friendly, personable staff and doctors. I’d previously been a long time patient of Dr. Garner who I’d also rate 5 then after she retired I had problems with two other practices. Over the previous year an area on my head wasn’t getting the attention it needed so out of frustration I did a walk-in at Liberty where they happened to have a cancellation. Along with an overall check they quickly assessed the area on my head was a serious cancer requiring MOH’s at Plano Dermatology. They also checked and prescribed for toenail fungus. All in one visit! How another practice with several appointments, tests, and my complaints got it wrong as a “cyst” is a bit chilling. Along with a very long scar because the cancer wasn’t diagnosed earlier.

Everyone was so nice and professional. Dr Tran was wonderful. I had to take my child, so they watched her in the reception area (not ideal for them) but they were so kind and sweet to her. Procedure went by so quickly.

Going to Liberty Dermatology has great for what I need. The staff and doctors are happy, respectful and listen to your issues. The only downfall I had was when I originally called for an appointment the first available for new patients was 3 months out.
