Dr. Shel and staff are awesome! My experience as a patient has been great! I received compassionate care and every question during and after my visit was answered! Prior to establishing care with Dr. Shel, I’ve been to numerous specialists that only wanted to treated my condition with a new medication that essentially masked my symptoms. I’m finally beginning to feel like myself again with Dr. Shel and Yolanda’s current treatment plan. I received an individualized treatment plan that provided a root cause of my symptoms.

I called and spoke to Al about making an appt for menopause care. I asked questions regarding seeing the provider. He said that it would be 75 dollars and then labs would run 50 dollars. I took the time to complete intake forms that took me 45 min. It was extensive to say the least! When I got to my appt, they did not have computer access to my forms so I had to complete the paperwork again. I the proceeded to the consultation with an NP which is fine as I too am an NP. Then someone came in and quoted me a whopping $3120! Are you kidding me. The majority of that cost was for labs! What happened to the 50$ labs Al (who’s the COO by the way!) I told her I’d like to go to through my insurance! She said ok but the cortisol won’t be covered. I said ok get a serum cortisol and she said we don’t do that! WHAAAT!? So I told her yeah we are not doing the cortisol check. She said ok that takes you to 800 dollars (or so)! Over two THOUSAND in labs is CRAZY!!!! I said no and left. They are NOT transparent, took 75 dollars from me to review what I wrote on an intake forms to then want to charge me thousands!!!! Really is not good practice!

I came to see the nurse for a consultation for a procedure I was interested in. She talked through my concerns with me and recommended a different treatment that was more appropriate for me. I really appreciate her knowledgeability. I went back for the treatment today and she was again very informative and pleasant. The cost was reasonable/the same or less than other places I checked out. The center is lovely and comfortable. I definitely wish I lived closer so I could do routine skin care like Botox here, too!

My facial experience with Natalia was horrific. She was very uncertain in her skills and had no confidence when discussing my skin concerns. I came in seeking her expertise and to help me with my skinconcerns and she was so focused on up-selling me on a multitude of treatments that I was not even inquiring about. This was far from relaxing and very disappointing considering I never do anything for myself and this was my expensive "treat". Spare yourself of the disappointment and inadequacy to provide a "simple" treatment from going to this place or even to see her.
