Clear Lake Dermatology - Webster

New pt cosmetic consult. Kaylan was too busy on the phone to check me in or even acknowledge me. After several minutes I finally interrupted to ask if there was any paperwork I needed to be filling out since I’m new (there was). Alyssa (sp?) finally called me back well after my appt time. She had few words and didn’t seem very knowledgeable. She asked me if I had any questions about the procedures I was inquiring about right away, without offering any info. The room was bare, with no photo books or anything to show before and afters of the services I was seeking (or any service for that matter). She had a brief 5ish minute discussion about how she uses her tools and she was off to print prices for me. I asked more than once if certain procedures could be done on the same day of or if there were contraindications prohibiting such and all she kept responding to was the techs schedule. I wasn’t inquiring of schedule conflicts, but whether or not same day treatments were safe. There seemed to be a communication barrier. Finally I asked if any before and after books of her treatments existed for me to see, she said, “um I have to find them”, left the room for what seemed like an eternity so I left. She never returned while I was there.

The doctor did amazing, but I was very upset leaving my visit once I was told the final price. I pay everything out of pocket, so I make sure to ask ahead of time what the price of everything I’m getting done is, the dr. clearly explained what I would be paying for and I really appreciate that but once I got to the front, they told me the price for the visit, and it was a completely different price than what the girl over The phone told me when I booked the appointment, and nobody at the front wanted to help me they were just making me feel like it was my fault. Ended up paying more than expected.

My first time here. Was very happy with the whole visit. All the employees were super kind and so happy. The doctor I saw informed me and gave me all the information I needed.

The office is very clean inviting. The staff are very welcoming and are ready to answer any questions. The staff took my worries seriously and didn't make me feel bad for knowing I may have an issue but waiting so long to get checked. I will recommend this office to others.

Absolutely love this place! I have had such wonderful results from my treatments and the staff is so sweet and just make my experience there that much better!
