I’ve been doing half-body laser hair removal here at NUVIDA and have had SUCH a wonderful experience. I’ve been raving about it to everyone I know. They’ve been so good with making appointments that work for my schedule with also working and having a toddler. Plus, I had an appointment that I ended up late for due to a bad accident on I-15 and Jen helped zip thorough the appointment efficiently so that we could still fit it in—while still being so friendly and kind. The hair removal procedures are mostly painless (more of a zing than full pain? and only minimally present). I saw noticeable reduction in hair after just the first couple appointments, and now I’ve finished 5/6 and it’s life-changing not having to shave basically ever. Truly my only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner?? 20/10 recommend.✨

I really wanted to love it and there were parts that I did love. It is very clean and the spa provides a lot of services that highly interest me. Unfortunately, my experience with laser hair removal was not great. I was a newbie to laser hair removal and paid for a total body package. Several things were not made clear to me until after I was locked in. First of all, when you pay for total body, you do not get total body. Apparently they can only safely do a certain amount of your body at one time and since you need to use all six of your sessions to have a modicum of actual permanent hair removal, you will still need to decide which parts of your body are the priority. In that case, I would definitely preferred to save money and b the half body package. Secondly, I was under the impression that I had six sessions, but free touch up sessions would be provided as long as I stuck to the schedule, until the hair was successfully removed from the areas I was treating. That did not prove to be true. Lastly, all the technicians that worked on me were brand new, quickly trained and did not have the experience to adequately make use of my six sessions. One of them burnt the crap out of me, since she forgot to not go over my tattoo. Not only was I badly burned, but part of my tattoo, which was less than a year old at the time, was permanently ruined. No attempt to make this right in any way was offered to me. All the girls were new and kept quitting, so I never had the same person work on me more than twice. In the beginning, they were using way to low of a (temperature? frequency? level?) which I didn't know any better, because I had never done laser hair removal before and unfortunately, this means my six sessions did not remove the hair. I only figured it out on my last session, when Jen, the owner, worked on me and while it was more intense, because she was using a higher level, it worked way better at removing the hair. Maybe is an experienced person had been working on me the entire time, I would have gotten what I paid for and my butterfly tattoo wouldn't be missing her wing. Long story long, request Jen, or at least find out how long the person working on you has been doing Laser Hair Removal and guard your tattoos from carelessness.

Having laser hair removal done in the bikini area is just plain awkward for me. I appreciate that when both Jen and Christina have done my laser they have been trauma informed to tell me what they are doing, where they are going, the number of passes in each area, take breaks if needed, and help you try to have some sense of modesty while having laser done. You also can’t go wrong with their membership service that makes these treatments a lot easier on your pocketbook with monthly payments. The receptionists have been wonderful in helping me reschedule appointments when things have come up and I appreciate the texting line that is really convenient for me. I highly, highly recommend NUVIDA!

I took my son in who was sick for an IV. Jen knew exactly what he needed. He was feeling better within 5-10 min of his IV treatment. Jen is so easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I can’t recommend her and her clinic enough!

I had been pretty exhausted, tired, low libido, and all around crummy. Jen was thorough during the intake appointment and the lab work was easy and quick. Based on the labs, I chose to try the testosterone pellet. The insertion was so quick, little pain and bruising afterwards. Within a few weeks, I noticed a huge improvement in my energy and brain fog. My libido also improved. I felt closer to myself than I have felt for 10 years. Can’t recommend NUVIDA more. The staff at the front desk are wonderful and empathetic. The monthly facial with the membership are something I look forward to doing just for me.
