DO NOT GO HERE. This was the worst medical experience I had ever had. I went in for a cyst removal and when Adam Garling came in, he asked me what i was there for as if he had no knowledge of my file. I explained that i came in thinking he was going to be draining my cyst and he said “yeah i got time today, let me go grab my stuff” as if he was fitting me in to my appointment that had been scheduled for 3 weeks. I went into it thinking he’d be draining it with a needle so when i felt the needle go in, i assumed the process was starting but what i didn’t realize was the needle was injecting numbing because he’d actually be cutting my head open with a scalpel and pushing the cyst out which i would’ve been fine with had he told me in advance what i was going into. So once i heard my head get cut open, i got really nauseous and told him i wasn’t feeling well and he said “yeah that’s normal, you may even start to sweat or pass out” and within seconds i did pass out and when i woke up he was finishing up the stitches. I was so confused and just wanted to get out of there asap so once he was done, i asked him how to care for the wound and he said i didn’t have to do anything so then i asked how soon i could shower and he said to just wait a day and then put vaseline on it if i wanted to. A few days went by and i noticed it hurting more and then when i went to put vaseline on it, i noticed it felt like the wound was no longer stitched. He stitched the outside of the wound with dissolvable stitches so they inevitably dissolved since the instructions he gave were that it’d be fine to get the wound wet. The wound got infected so i am now on antibiotics with a gaping hole in my head because my doctor wont be able to stitch the wound back up until the infection is out of it.

This is the first medical appointment I’ve had to cancel because of a lack of accessibility and being too afraid for my health and safety to attempt a ramp- so I can’t speak to any of their dermatology services, because I couldn’t safely get into the building. There was NO mention of a steep ramp regardless of whether you’re going up or down. The ramp is NOT compliant with ADA Minimum Standards for Accessibility. There are big gaps and cracks in both the ramps up & down, along with a 5°-9° grade. The ADA has been around for 34 years, and it’s past time that medical providers take note in order to ensure their medical practices and clinics are accessible to all. Should have seen the red flag when my new patient appointment started at 4:50 and the office closes at 5. Guarantee this clinic would’ve tried the $160-$200 charge/bill for a 5 min appointment with me had I not canceled due to their lack of accessibility.

My husband and I were referred by another Doctors office ( because we couldn’t get in until January 2025) we absolutely had a great experience ! Great staff ! Adam the PA was so kind and professional. We definitely will be coming here from now on ! I saw they also provided aesthetic services at their office .

Dr. Garling was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend his services.

I have been a patient with Dr. Odell (since retired) for a dozen years. I have been seeing his replacement, Adam, for the past 4 or 5 and have had no issue with his examination and treatments. My issue has always been on the rates they charge. I last visited over a month ago and had Adam look at three spots on my hand/arm that we showing signs of pre-cancerous growths. Adam recommended that we biopsy them and send them in to get tested. It took him all of 5 minutes to get all three samples taken care of and I was out of there. The whole office visit wasn't more than 15 minutes. Then I get the bill: $150 for office visit and nearly $175 for each of the samples taken. Total $688 for a 15 minute visit. I call and ask if the testing of the samples was included in the $688. No, I'm told, and I get a bill a little later for an additional $444. So over $1,100 for my 15 minute appointment. I have questions, so I email their office looking for an explaination of the costs, and I get responses, but no answer to my billing questions. Instead I get...."oh the billing lady is on vacation", or she is real busy but will get back to you". After a month of this, I finally call "the billing department" and leave a message letting them know my frustration of not getting any answers on these costs. I finally get a phone call. And the "billing lady" goes on and on about how "Dr. Garland" (He is not a doctor, he is a PA) has all these licensing and insurance costs....and that they charge competitive rates....blah, blah, blah. Then I ask about a rate sheet so I would know what I'm going to get billed before the treatment to make an informed decision she tells me that they won't provide one and don't have to. I disagree with her, refuting her reasons for charging the rates they have and then she accuses me of calling and harrasing them and hangs up on me.....This is after I have been trying to get answers to legitimate questions for a month. Needless to say, I will be looking for a different dermatologist going forward.
