This was my second eyelid surgery….the first time I was very unhappy and couldn’t tell any difference. The before and after photos looked the same. That doctor didn’t stand by his work. Thomas Oberg and staff are amazing. I trusted them with the care of my daughter. She's my only daughter and that as you might think makes me nervous and fearful. Dr Oberg explained everything. Kept a channel of communication with me. His staffed answere my calls and text at all hours. And this is just him in the office. As a surgeon, damn, does he go above and beyond. He never talked down to my daughter. She's 8 and even when she was 6 and has surgery with him (knowing she has speech issues and understanding issues) some how knew exactly how to talk to her with out us saying anything. My little one brought her favorite stuffy and he named him PThom (he's a dinosaur and names him like pterodactyl with a silent P) he has all these inside jokes with her that made her not scared. Little one doesn't even call him her doctor but my friend Thom. When they both went into surgery (daughter and the stuffy) Dr. Oberg made sure they were maching with their eye patches and hair nets. I can't describe to you the feeling I had at both surgeries seeing my daughter and PThom come out. It soothed my fears knowing he took that much care with a freaking stuffed animal so my daughter woukd continue to be at ease. If you don't use this man in your surgical needs and that of your families I question your intelligence. You will not find a better surgeon or better staff. He only hires elite to match how amazing he is.
