For over 20 years, I had a lot of pain in my calves. I worked in a factory for 18 years with steel toes and running for over 20 years as a hobby. I thought it was wear and tear on my body. I had bad vericose veins from my father's side of the family. The pain was getting so bad, I had to give up on running for awhile. I talked with my PCP about my pain and told me to look into a vein specialist. After researching, I found Dr Challa. After a few appointments with a consult and an ultrasound, my veins were so bad. Last year, I was able to finish 6 of 8 vein procedures and have 2 more scheduled soon. It was very minimally invasive and with proper care and following instructions, I was able to run pain free after 4 weeks. I never thought bad veins could hold you down with so much pain. To date, I feel great and my legs feel very light. I am very pleased with my results from Dr. Challa and his staff who were all amazing every step of the way.

I scheduled the procedure and I’m actually late. Arrive at the time of my appointment and stare at the tiny sign that they have looking for the name of the building so I can find the room. That lasts until I call Five minutes later after staring at the sign and then I finally find it. So I go in I do my paperwork and I’m now officially late maybe 10 minutes total because I also had to get my ID from outside. I enter the building do the paperwork and I sit for 30 minutes. I asked. How much longer and they told me another 15 minutes. So I would have to wait 45 minutes for an appointment that I was 10 minutes late for only because I had to go back outside to get my ID and I couldn’t see the sign. Granted I did just get new bifocals. So now they’re sending me a message sorry you missed your appointment when I was literally sitting there for 30 minutes. I do not recommend this Establishment.

Great team at Chesapeake Vein Center and MedSpa! Be ready when you arrive as patients are always seen on time. Each member displays genuine concern for your comfort and satisfaction and are open to listen to your concerns. Dr. Challa is extremely driven to ensure each patient’s privacy is protected. He strives to make no mistakes and in that manner performs an oral review of patient information with the team and patient present at the start of your procedure. He conducts thorough examinations and discusses every detail until he meets the patient’s understanding. Patients are provided with all the available options in detail and are encouraged to discuss their concerns so together you can reach the best decision in pursuing a treatment plan. Dr Challa diligently reviews the steps of your treatment with participating support present to ensure everyone’s process is aligned. Only after confirming with everyone, including the patient, will your treatment begin. Nothing is more alarming than listening to your doctor’s review of your condition that is completely off and obviously about another patient. This won’t happen here. Personally, I have had nothing but the best encounters with Dr. Challa and each staff member in the office. You can feel and see how well everyone works together to create a warm and friendly environment. Everyone pitches in to make each patient’s visit a positive experience. I recommend choosing their office to meet all your medical, personal health and appearance goals. I am looking forward to trying out some beauty treatments now that my medical concerns are being addressed. I am a “work in progress” yet am already having good feelings about fine tuning my features to look my best! Thank you Dr Challa and your dedicated staff.
