Dr. Howard P. Heppe, MD

Update: my mother still has staph and Heppe refuses to release her file to CDC. She has tried to get other local docs to help her but they are not willing to touch her case. Original: Dr. Heppe did a tummy tuck for my mother and left MANY stitches inside of her that still have not dissolved, two years post-op. She continues to battle staph infections and fevers yet he has told her twice that she is now "cured." Today she wakes up with a stitch literally poking out from her abdomen.

I did my research and I found Dr Heppe was one of Northern Virginia’s top plastic surgeons. When I met Dr Heppe and his staff, I was very happy on how friendly and knowledgeable they were. On the day of my procedure, which is done in the building, I was very much impressed with how the process was done. All my questions and concerns were answered. I am a registered nurse, and I am acutely aware of when infection control procedures are followed and not followed, I absolutely felt safe in this environment. I am now three months out from my surgery and I am very much pleased with the results. I did not have any postoperative complications nor any infection. I honestly can highly recommend Dr.Heppe. I had a brachioplasty done and it’s the first time in 30 years that I’ve worn sleeveless tops and dresses. I wish I had done this earlier! Thank you to Dr Heppe and his staff. Dr. Heppe, or as I have nicknamed him, Dr. Happy, is truly a world class plastic surgeon. I had originally booked with a different plastic surgeon and after have a bad gut feeling, I did some research and found unfavorable feedback on said dr. Still wanting the surgery, I researched all the plastic surgeons within the MD/VA area and felt drawn to Heppe's credentials as well as client reviews. Meeting him in person, I instantly felt at ease and knew he was the Dr. I wanted to perform my mommy makeover. I appreciated his completely platonic analysis of my body, focusing on medical aspects, while also sharing his recommendations and expectations. Given the fact that the first plastic surgeon I had booked with felt like a used cars salesman, Dr. Heppe's technique was more medical and realistic focused. I am 10 days post op and am in love with my results! If you are reading this review because you need assurance to use Dr. Heppe or the extra push to go for it, do it!! It will be a day you will celebrate where you regained your self confidence! Thank you to Dr. Heppe and his team for not only taking wonderful care of me but also being good sports in keeping up with the antics my post surgical care support (aka my crazy friends) and I put you through!

Dr . Heppe is an amazing surgeon who did a breast augmentation for me Sept 2019. He is a very professional, personable, and skilled surgeon. He took the time to get to know me and to understand what I wanted. When I developed a small complication a few months later, he was very quick to fix the issue. He understands his patients and strives to make sure they have the results they want. He truly cares for his patients. In addition, his staff are wonderful. They make you feel welcome and always are professional and nice. I feel blessed that I met Dr Heppe and he did my augmentation.

I truly could not be happier with the results of my tummy tuck and breast lift. I was nervous about having surgery before visiting Dr. Heppe but he was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and honest. I had my surgery the day before Thanksgiving and he even came into the office on Thanksgiving day to ensure I had my next day post surgery follow up visit. Throughout the whole process until my last follow up, he was available to answer any questions I had and did so in such a great manner. Dr. Heppe has been the best doctor and has changed my life with this surgery.
