Clubhouse Skin and Laser Medspa

Went in for a consultation and appointment on the same day and have to say I'm pretty sold on the place. Jacqueline is very blunt and upfront about everything laser related and is sure to answer any questions you have in regards to treatment as well as making you feel welcome and taken care of as a client

I choose the post op package. I recently had surgery and was looking for a place that did lymphatic massages and I found clubhouse. Jacqueline has been supportive every step of the way and when I finally had the opportunity to meet her Not only was I pleased with her professionalism, and knowledge but with her hand skills as well. Jacqueline also explained to me the purpose of the massages and reassured me not to panic that my body had a lot of bloating and to give my healing process some time. The massage didn't hurt at all it actually felt nice and soothing. I can't wait for my next massage and will recommend this establishment to anyone post-op care. When my package is complete I will be looking into some sort of body sculpting. Yes this establishment is clean the atmosphere is peaceful and staff are friendly.

I have to be honest with my overall experience. At first I was excited and felt great about my treatment, but unfortunately as my treatments went on, I felt rushed through every appointment and the results showed. I felt like because I went through the Groupon, my sessions were not treated as a full paying customer. And even when I pointed out issues with my treatment, nothing was ever done to compensate me for their error. I really had high hopes for this place and I am very disappointed I have to take my money elsewhere 😔 Edited for a response: As a customer who did express issues with my service, I should not have to ask to be compensated. It should have been offered when I let my technician know on multiple occasions. In the future please don't rush through your clients sessions and offer to right your errors on your own. Thanks

I love clubhouse! I’ve tried other laser places and nothing changed with my hair growth but clubhouse actually works! I don’t have to shave my legs anymore! All of the spa services are great too. I highly recommend the monthly membership. The staff is very easy to talk to and very professional working around intimate areas.

Today I had my initial consultation with the Clubhouse Skin and Laser and Medspa and my experience with nurse Jacqueline was unprofessional and extremely combative! I initially chose this business because they specialize in skin of color and as a black woman it appeared to be the perfect fit. I waited 3 months for my consultation and was very excited to see what they had to offer. As I recently relocated from GA to VA (less than 6 months ago) I am not extremely unfamiliar with the area. My appt was at 10:15. I was in the vicinity at 10:05 calling clubhouse to get directions or a landmark (my call went straight to VM). I also paid a $50 deposit that’s is refundable once you come to your appointment, so I also didn’t want to forfeit my money and the 3 months I waited to even get an appointment. Upon my arrival I not greeted by the staff, instead I was just asked for my name then told to have a seat. I signed in, and was eventually taken to the back to speak with the nurse (Jacqueline). Pretty standard pre and post opp information (as I have had laser hair removal in the past). We began to discuss the pricing and the perks between purchasing a package vs. a membership. Ms. Jacqueline calculated the “package” (via her phone) based off the service I chose, no issue. As she began to discuss the “membership” she mentioned the monthly fee ($125) but later in the conversation mentioned the INITIAL $500 fee. I immediately stated, “oh, you didn’t mention that part” (just thinking out loud) and she became very combative stating that she had mentioned it over and over. I said no you didn’t (as it wasn’t a huge deal) but I was taking notes to make an informed decision between the package vs membership. Moving on, she left the room briefly and when she returned I wanted to ensure I calculated the “membership” correctly. When I said “I calculated the membership at $xxx, is that correct”? Her response was, “if that’s the math”. However, since she was certain I missed info before I wanted to ensure there was no confusion about the price of the service as it was $1,000+. I then stated, “well I just wanted to run it by you to ensure I understood everything correctly”. She stated, “ well I don’t have a calculator, but if that’s what it says that’s what it is”. Keep in mind she used her phone to calculate the package previously, the same phone sitting on the counter when she said she didn’t have a calculator. I then asked, “Is there someone who can definitively, advise me on the package amount”. She then grabbed her phone and calculated it. At checkout, I had to ask about different payment options as it wasn’t offered to me (for whatever reason). Overall very disappointed, as I was really hoping for a better experience.
