Dr Marefat is a skilled plastic surgeon. I got a lip lift. He was professional prompt and very friendly. He is confident in his skill set. Let me begin by saying that my first ever body contouring procedure occurred in 2021 at age 64, and I was overwhelmed trying to choose a doctor since I had no experience in this process. Long story short, Dr. Marefat fixed my disappointing first surgery results and made my dream of a trim waist and hip reduction a wonderful reality! I was so upset when I first met with him, actually in tears, because of the surgical experience I had with another doctor. I was so afraid of repeating the procedure and hoping for a different outcome the second time. He put me at ease immediately, listening to my concerns, fears, and hopes. He gave me his undivided attention as he examined my abdomen, waist, hips and flanks. He turned me around, quarter by quarter, pulled here, lifted there, and explained his plan for achieving the shape I envisioned. He gave me guarded confidence, and I booked the surgical re-do. I had CIRCUMFERENTIAL LIPOSUCTION of the TORSO with EXCESS SKIN REMOVAL of the HIPS. This surgery was done under local anesthesia with oral sedation, which is a more affordable option for many people who dream of improving their appearance. Dr. Marefat has such a calming demeanor that I felt like family in the practice environment. In very short order, as the swelling began to subside, I saw the amazing results start to unfold, and my confidence began to soar! It's been almost 6 months since that first procedure with Dr. Marefat (revision), and then I had a second procedure with Dr. Marefat just 3 weeks later because I had 6 weeks off from work. Following much research on the irregular fat deposits on my legs, I believe that I have a little-known condition called LIPEDEMA. Dr. Marefat did conservative CIRCUMFERENTIAL LIPOSUCTION of the LEGS (under general anesthesia) and FAT GRAFTING to my face, to ease the signs of aging. I'm elated! I can't express how happy I am with his care, his caring way, his skill, and his dedication to making the patient happy while maintaining medical safety. Thank you, Dr. Marefat!!!
