I went here a few years ago near the beginning of Covid. I figured waiting 3 months for an appointment was normal at that time. Dr. Pariser was by far the rudest, cruelest medical professional I had ever had the displeasure of meeting. I just wanted to figure out why these lesions were appearing on my arm and not going away, and why this cream I was given by a doctor in Bahrain during my second deployment when it started seemed to heal them before they came back. Dr. Pariser walked into the room and threw the cream on the desk. Told me I needed mental help and that skin cancer doesn't form while you are out in the desert, it forms years afterward (it was my second deployment to the same desert, and I wasn't claiming to have skin cancer, I just wanted to know what was wrong). He went on berating me, treated me unprofessionally and like a liar and it was not appreciated. I've still to this day never been treated so badly by any doctor and left the appointment crying. I was ashamed to tell anyone for a long time, but I am Not a liar and shouldn't have been treated that way. I wanted to at least write a bad review so maybe someone can read this and save themselves the trouble.

Super disappointed. I’ve dealt with long wait times for appointments for a few years here and it’s never really been that much of an issue. The last time I was seen it was a bit rushed but whatever it was one time. However I made an appointment THREE months ago for this week. I get a call a couple days ago saying they need to reschedule because the doctor has something going on. I call to reschedule and they want to reschedule me until APRIL. After I’ve already waited three months for the appointment. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ll be looking for another dermatologist but in the mean time what other option do I have but to wait…. I’m just glad it’s not a pressing matter and I can afford to wait. I’m just very disappointed and frustrated.

Kala was very good with the procedure she performed on my face. She took the time to explain what she was doing and told me what to expect over the coming days after. I am very pleased.

I have been having a lot of health problems lately that could be related to an autoimmune disease which I already have one so I was just weighing out my issues. I am not a dermatologist so I had some questions that I wanted answered or advice given. I have never felt so awkward with how P.A Hughes spoke to me. She made me feel unheard and uncomfortable . It was so bad that I said something to fact “you probably think I’m a hypochondriac.” Even if she thought I was crazy there is still a certain way to speak with a patient. I’m just concerned about my health and trying to get answers. One thing that was upsetting was she didn’t ask me anything about my history but had a quick rude response that “a lot of people have this type of issue in their system.” P.A. Hughes needs to be skilled on having a better bedside manner with compassion and empathy towards her patients.

Waited three months for an appointment. When I arrived, the medical assistant was impatient and rude. Likewise, the Dr. that came in immediately dismissed all my concerns as "cosmetic" and was trying to get me out the door as fast as possible. I had to pry information out of him to get what I needed. I have received more kindness and compassion during most trips to the DMV than I got here (except the front desk staff, who was great).
