We love this practice. Conveniently located and a great option for quality urgent care on this side of the mountain.

Unfortunately, the last time I called here was a very negative experience. When Dr. Lannigan was a part of the practice, everything seemed to go well— but when she moved, everything went downhill. There are seemingly not enough doctors within the practice to handle the amount of patients that they have accepted in. It’s virtually impossible to get an appointment on a date that’s reasonable (unless you schedule months and months in advance of course). The last time I called, though, really turned me off from the whole practice. I have severe anxiety and I cannot handle phone calls well already, and when I called to reschedule an appointment I was treated very badly by one of the receptionists that answered the phone. There have been other receptionists that are nicer at this place, though. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I had, but until they bring another doctor into the practice, I wish you good luck in finding a reasonable appointment time. I hope this place can improve, though, as it was very helpful for me when Dr. Lannigan was still there, she was very kind and very helpful. I can not vouch for the other doctors because I have not encountered them, but I will be seeing a new doctor from another practice soon.

I had been going to this doctors office for a few years with no issues. I lost my insurance in May due to losing my job because of the pandemic. It was shut down. I made sure to get my meds refilled in April because I was aware that I would be needing refills. The doctor asked me if I needed refills when I was there and I of course replied with yes. I had been receiving my refills until the pharmacy said they were continuing to send request but hadn't got anything back. I then called the doctor myself and they said they would send it to the nurse. This happened 3 different times in the same order! I tried to be patient after I would call because I know health care workers are stressed I'm a understanding person. And they asked for 48-72 hours in advance. I complied until I am now without meds and then them telling me that I have to come into the office for a visit as it's been too long. All of this calling and back in forth with the pharmacy and they never told me or my pharmacy any of this until I had to call 3 times in one day for someone to understand the severity of this. I was then contacted by a nurse telling me the same thing. She said she would try to get it taken care of but the doctor has alot of other prescriptions to fill. They did finally get me meds to make it until my appointment time, Thank goodness!!

I have been a patient of this office for 45 years. When Dr. Forbes passed away I was moved to Dr. Samuel Hostetter. I am very disappointed in the care of that I have received from him and in the violations of confidentialities regarding family members. Unfortunately I have had to leave that office due to these issues. I will truly miss the nurses and the front office staff who have always been compassionate confidential and friendly!

Kathryn A. Kahler is the worst! Don’t bother seeing her if you’re a minority. She will find a way to want to change your health care plan for no reason. Oh because she can..she will and nobody over sees her executive decisions. I had trouble breathing for almost a year after a Pulmonary Embolism. She couldn’t diagnose me said its a result from my stuffy nose. That I broke almost 10 years ago. Nope had a lung condition! My pain she stated it’s basically in my head because of previous mental issues. Nope have Bone Spurs and Arthritis up and down my spine. Dr. Forbes was the best and I truly miss his care.
