I was a patient for many years before I moved to Florida and loved it. When I moved back I was disappointed to be told on my skin check not to tell the doctor any concerns I had. The nurse said she doesn’t like to hear this during skin checks. I had a very awkward appointment and wasn’t sure I wanted to return. But then I had an appointment with the nurse practitioner and she was amazing. This year they have cancelled multiple appointments and I completely understand they lost my favorite nurse practitioner. My fault apparently I missed the appointment they made for me and my last appointment they cancelled x They said I received a call when I did not receive a message and didn’t talk to anyone. Now I am paying my $50 fee. Seems like they are a bit overwhelmed. I don’t know if they have brought a new person in to help handle the patient load but having been pushed out 6 months from my annual appointment I assume they are unable to handle the patients they currently have. Now I’m searching for a new practice. Shame because I remember liking the doctor and the nurse practitioners for many years when I lived here before. I had annual checkups and other elective options with no concerns.
2/5 - [Dr Corvette's Office ] - would not recommend to anyone; your time is not respected, and you will be told to book more appointments before you’ve had the chance to talk about what you came in for. The office is understaffed, the doctor is constantly behind, and because of that, your appointment will not be on time, and you will get no time with your doctor. If you decide to make an appointment, since the appointments are out two months anyway, take the doctor’s advice and "don’t touch [it] for 2 months" before coming in, and wasting your time further. Called to make an appointment in early January; took the earliest appointment available, two months later. Wait two months, arrive early with printed patient information from my referring PCP. Secretary says I need to fill everything out anyway, and also please pay your co-pay. The sign read "payment due at time of services rendered", I guess talking to me was a service rendered. Turn in the handwritten patient information. Upon turn-in: "the doctor is a bit behind today, so you’re going to be 20-30 minutes later". That’s fine, I arrived early, took off work, and only made this appointment 2 months ago. Besides, it’s not like an appointment-only doctor’s office is accustomed to dealing with patients that are scheduled to come in at specified times. So I wait. When I do get called to the back, the assistant was the highlight. She seemed to genuinely care, and was happy I actually wrote down what I wanted to talk about. And while it’s not against her any, she did say "well, here’s what we’re going to focus on today", and after about 60 seconds of downtime, she was out and the doctor was in. I’d never felt so rushed and so dismissed during a doctor’s appointment. I understand you’re behind; but I waited 2 months and an extra 30 minutes for this - I’d really appreciate some kind of acknowledgment of what I wrote down. Didn’t have to be a diagnosis, just scan over it for anything that a professional would say might be alarming. As I tried to bring up the list of what I wanted to talk about, the doctor made it pretty clear that "this is what we’re going to talk about today". And she did. We talked about the two things she said we were going to talk about. When I tried to bring up other things from my list, it was a quick "you can book another appointment if you want to talk about this" or a "oh, for anything cosmetic, you can book an appointment with this person", or a "you can book a full body analysis if you’re concerned". Every time I tried to bring up something not about the two things she’d decided on, it was a "book another appointment"; and I can only assume the doctor is totally disconnected from the fact that the earliest appointment is 2 months out. By the end of the doctor’s time, she’d given me ten minutes of her time to lecture me on "don’t touch it for 2 months, and if it doesn’t get better, book another appointment" and "book another appointment for anything I’m not talking about". So at this point, I don’t know what on my original list is cosmetic versus an actual concern; what was covered is summarized with "don’t touch it for 2 months", and encouraged to make who knows how many more appointments. No additional appointments will be made - you didn't respect my time the first time, I have no faith it will be respected at all in the future.
Denise Brooks, PA-C is such an amazing caregiver. She took her time during my full skin exam, made me feel comfortable, and was extremely thorough. She created such a safe space. If you have dermatological needs, I highly recommend this practice. Best experience of my life.
Tracey is my esthetician and I love her! I have been going to her for years. She always knows just what I need and is quick to point out areas of concern if there are any. I get compliments on my skin often and I attribute that to sunblock, moisturizer and Tracey! I see her monthly!
We have been seeing Tracey Ovitt for several years. We love her personality and caring attitude. She is very focused on detail and always makes you feel relaxed. Her facials leave you feeling amazing.
