Overall not impressed. The new client questionnaire is a bit extreme (lots of irrelevant questions that they don’t seem to even look at the answers anyway). They require copay up front, so be prepared for that. The front desk staff and the audiologist were great, very kind and made me feel welcome. I waited an hour and a half past my appointment time to be seen, with 0 communication! Essentially they overbooked themselves, so I ended up not even seeing the doctor! My appointment was with a couple nurses. They made me feel judged/acted as if they didn’t believe me about my symptoms, or perhaps they just don’t know what they’re doing?. Without giving out too much personal information, they essentially told me it sounds like I have X, but they want me to go see a different doctor first, then if that doctor doesn’t find anything, I can come back to them and they’ll finally diagnose me with X. It’s almost a month later and they still have not even gotten this information to my primary doctor, or the referral to the other doctor.. they have very bad communication and overall the appointment was a waste of time other than the portion with the audiologist! ETA: 7 months after my appointment, they still have not gotten this information to my primary doctor or the referral they mentioned! Avoid this place, they really do not care…
Appointment times are not your appointment time. I always waited +45 mins to be seen. Appointments were quick maybe saw the doctor for 10 mins. Surgery went well. I wouldn’t say my sinuses are completely fixed. Billing is a nightmare…. Payment plans were set up twice & canceled 2x all by itself. Clinic never called to let customers know. So statement was sent out saying it was going to collections. Called to pay & set up payment plan and then she still sent to collections even though she stated it wouldn’t be. And now she states once in collections it can’t be taken back out even though she said it would be the last time. Always a different story when I call and speak to the same person in the billing department… annoyed to say the least.
This place is a joke. At my last appointment I had to wait an hour to be seen. When I went to the desk to ask how much longer the receptionist called me by the wrong name. The appointment was also scheduled for the wrong thing.... was scheduled for the appointment I previously had last with them. They were confused as to why I was there. I am now in the exam room for a follow up appointment from having a surgical procedure done that was on the 7th. I again was called back into the room over 30 minutes late and the room is set up for a procedure. I already had the procedure done. This is supposed to be a follow up and results appointment. Talk about incompetent and lack of communication and knowledge about appointments. I am not impressed and quite frankly upset at these mistakes. I don't have trust in this place any more
I had nasal and sinus surgery with Dr. Yaish. I am very pleased with the results!! Dr. Yaish was very communicative throughout the whole process! The staff was all very friendly and helpful with the whole process. Billing was great and the out of pocket was less than what I was told! All in all it was a great experience.
My husband went to Dr. Yaish for years. Last couple of years the front desk staff informed my husband that they don’t accept our insurance. I pay POS purposely for my family to go anywhere since an HMO won’t cover the hospital in town. My husband got upset and walked out before his appointment. I also deal with insurance for work and know that we should be accepted regardless of insurance. Now, our daughter has enlarged tonsils is snoring and having difficulty breathing we have an appointment with an ENT elsewhere but wanted to see if we could get her in earlier because it’s getting more concerning how large the tonsils are becoming. I called Dr. Yaish office they had an earlier appointment I explained that I have a POS and how some doctors offices assume I don’t and that they can’t take my insurance. They checked, keep in mind they never asked for my insurance numbers, they came back and stated they were completely private and no longer accept my insurance even though it’s POS. I then called my insurances provided Dr. Yaish’s name and office address. My insurance stated he was out of network but would still cover it and that my co-pays my be more. I work for a different county but get county/state insurance, I know it’s good coverage. Plus I had this insurance for years and they saw my husband last year. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
