The doctor and her assistant were truly amazing! I felt very confident and was made assure I would look normal again. The front desk staff made me feel like I was her worst nightmare. I walked into the beautiful office and felt like I've done something wrong? I understand people have bad days at work but us clients/patients shouldn't have to feel the negative emotions the staff is experiencing that day.
Accessible, easy to schedule and organized information gathering process. Front desk staff efficient but not friendly. Physician was personable, but did not elicit history or treatments previously tried. Felt like I was giving unwelcome information when describing current therapies, which seemed weird given that we had never had a consultation before and treatment plan would need to take this into consideration.
Very professional. Staff courteous. Could have explained things more in layman’s terms. But I feel my treatment was taken care of. In and out quick.
I received a letter from a law office representing women across America who were affected by a hair product from a company called “WEN,” represented by Johnson Law Group. I was advised to consult a dermatologist to obtain a written statement regarding the issues I experienced after using the product. When I explained my situation to the doctor, he dismissed my concerns, saying my hair was too long and that I should stop braiding it and cut it all off because I had too much hair. A few months later, I developed five patches of hair loss on my scalp. By that time, the case had closed, and my hair continued to thin out, leaving me unable to pursue my claim. I began searching for alternatives to help regrow my hair and discovered a combination of essential oils that worked for me, filling in the patches and alleviating the alopecia. However, my overall hair volume is still not what it was before using “WEN.” Had the doctor taken my claims seriously, I might have received the compensation I deserved for the effort I put into regrowing my hair and the emotional toll it took on me. While millions of women successfully stated their claims and received compensation, I felt cheated by the dermatologist who dismissed my case, possibly due to biases about my hair as a Black woman. I wish the medical board would educate doctors on the importance of all hair types, emphasizing that our hair matters just as much as anyone else's. His views need to be reevaluated, and patients should never be dismissed based on preconceived notions.
Hello, I had what I thought was a successful biopsy, however have been experiencing some health issues since my procedure. I have been experiencing a low grade temperature and some Noravirus symptoms including diarrhea. I am also concerned about potential blood in my urine. I’m tired, however I think that is to be expected.
