The staff in both the ER and Palliative care were exceptional and great to work with while we navigated murky water with my father and his care. They took his privacy and protective custody seriously and made sure they took care of him and managed his pain until we got him transported down south closer to family and friends. My family and I are extremely grateful for how they treated us as well as we spent days at the hospital with my father who we were not able to see for months prior. They definitely deserve their 5 stars from us, because they earned them.
I have been to this clinic many times, at the old location and the new one. I have received great care, as have my family members. The new facility is amazing and seems to be well-staffed. I rarely have to wait to get an appointment or to be seen at an appointment. The facility is new with up-to-date equipment. There is an amazing emergency room and operating rooms, MRI and x-ray rooms, and a great physical therapy department. There is also an in-house pharmacy and a small hospital area sufficient for our area. I am so glad this new facility was built when we were in danger of losing our hospital and clinic.
I think most who have experienced the flu or Covid lately know just how horrible the symptoms are. I am a nurse and DO NOT use emergency services unless absolutely necessary. My husband took me in for extreme body aches, migraine, neck stiffness, nausea, vomiting…it was worse than child labor. The way the ER staff treated me only reminded me what rubbish we have for local services. 1.) No warm blanket (even though each time you came back in you seen my husband covering me with more of his clothing.) We heard you offering multiple other patients blankets, yet couldn’t break your back to bring me one. 2.) No IV fluids given because of a “shortage” and the RN said “we only give those to the sickest of sick patients” I wish I could have traded her places and given her the same courtesy. Meanwhile, you can go to Mayo Clinic or any local med spa and still get IV fluids, etc. 3.) The MD insisted I was dehydrated because of the “tears I was mustering up.” Meanwhile I hadn’t urinated for almost 24 hours and had yet to keep anything down. But your “magical zofran” was supposed to fix my problems…when really my main complaints were dehydration, migraine, and muscle aches. 4.) This reaffirmed my beliefs ER staff should be circulated out every 3 months because they lose their empathy and ability to care for the patients who need it most. 5.) Take my advice, drive the extra hour to anywhere but the Marshfield system. You would find more comfort dying in a ditch.
Horrific to say the least. Went in with pain, neck swollen to the size of my head. No xrays..no labs. Said neck strain . Sent home. Weekend passed as things got progressively worse. Saw my primary on .Monday.. have a raging infection.. that could have killed me if left untreated.. .
I’ll have to agree with a review. The receptionist was great. Very polite. The little ER nurse. No. Hospital we’ve never used and Being an emergency I didn’t have an ROI but my daughter was texting me what was being done. . Not familiar with pts disability background. I call in to impart, not receive, any info in order to better treat her and expedite rhe care properly. Nope. Rude little thing from the start. She got rude back. I’m sorry that this seems to be the only facility close by for the residents. I understand the reviews. Definitely just a band aid station and not a pleasant one at that. Just rude at the beginning of the call. Documented and dated 1/24/25.
