Dr. Lauren Cutler is the definition of meticulous and professional. She took a slow, thoughtful approach to my Botox, providing honest feedback to ensure the best, most natural results. Her attention to detail is unmatched—she truly treats her work like an art. On top of that, she went the extra mile by addressing some sebaceous glands and even detecting a pre-cancerous spot, proving she genuinely cares about her patients beyond just aesthetics. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and highly recommend her. Looking forward to my next visit!

I have never left a google review in my life but I felt inclined to because of how awful of an experience I had here. I called to make an appointment on the phone, and was extremely nice and polite both in person and on the phone. I had an appointment with Paul Smith, and from the moment I stepped in the office I felt extremely uncomfortable and dismissed. The receptionist was rude to me and made me feel uncomfortable, and when talking to the actual doctor I was in for less than two minutes, he didn’t answer any of my questions, did not give me a diagnosis, and pretty much just prescribed me something and made me go out the door. The prescription he prescribed me has made my condition exponentially worse to the point where it’s been causing me mental distress. I called this morning to ask if I could see a different doctor but was referred to Paul’s receptionist who was very rude to me but said she’d look at my charts and consult the doctor and call me back in less than 10 minutes. It’s been over 2 hours so I called again and was put on hold for almost 30 minutes and eventually had to hang up because they were ignoring my number. I would absolutely not recommend coming here, I’m not sure what I did to receive this treatment from all the employees but I am very sad and discouraged from my whole experience here.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Schmidt for probably a decade. Our experiences with her, and the entire staff, has been remarkable. In this current climate, where good and caring healthcare seems more and more difficult to find, we feel lucky to have found SMDG! Aside from the excellent care we receive by Dr Schmidt and her lovely assistant Gina, on occasion where Amy has had difficult cases to diagnose, the entire team of doctors at the office have jumped in to help! We are lucky to be part of this group and recommend the office to all of our friends.

I cannot recommend Santa Monica Dermatology Group highly enough. Not only do we receive tremendous care from Doctor Schmidt, but the whole team provides consistent professionalism and warmth. My family now relies on Dr. Schmidt for all things dermatology related (from the insignificant to the very serious). The team seems committed to our experience as well as our health and goes out of their way to make us feel welcome when we are there.

I absolutely love Santa Monica dermatology group. I’ve been seeing Dr. Adriana Schmidt for years and years after having some really unfortunate experiences with other dermatologists. I had so many others try to get me to buy their expensive products, offer expensive services that were never needed. Dr Schmidt is really fantastic and never makes you feel rushed. This is a great practice especially if you’re on the west side!
