Murphy Plastic Surgery: Terrence Murphy, MD

Did the exact opposite of what I asked him to. I had Top surgery with him over a year ago and I told him MANY times I did not want my chest to be concave, he reassured me that would not happen, multiple times. The second the bandages came off I could tell it didn't look right, he told me it was due to swelling, that's what he told me at every follow up appointment until I got fed up and cancelled my 6 months follow up and consulted a different surgeon instead. That surgeon told me that Dr Murphy did in fact mess up and should not have taken that much tissue from my chest. I was told the same thing after talking with my general doctor. He refused to own up to his mistakes or even listen to my concerns. After a year and a half of exercise to build muscle and try and make my chest look somewhat normal, it still doesn't. He has permanently messed up my body unless I can come up with thousands more to fix it with another surgery.

I chose Dr Murphy after doing 5 other consultations. He listened to my needs, was reassuring and professional. my surgery went smoothly. Almost a year out now from a full abdominoplasty and breast augmentation. His office staff are easy to work with and professional.

Andrea is fantastic and I refuse to let anyone else touch my face. I see her for Botox every 3 months (migraines) and have tried lip/cheek filler for funsies as well. I’ll be as honest as possible: I’ve never been self-concious about my lips, but it is a treat to be able to enhance them. Cheek filler was never a necessity (which Andrea assured me) but it made me feel so much better about myself after medical issues and worries about volume loss. She makes sure her patients are relaxed and understand the whole process before doing anything. Andrea knows how to make a face look it’s best without drastically changing anything, has never gone “too far” with my injections and her understanding of anatomically correcting/enhancing natural features is her secret weapon. I always get complimented after I’ve had filler done on how nice I look and she doesn’t try to get me to do more and definitely doesn’t want me to be shocked by my own face. That is something I have deep respect for, as I expressed never wanting to do “too much” and she gets it; I never feel pressured, or upsold. I also love that I know where my migraine pain is, so she can cater my Botox to those areas. I used to go through my insurance, which is the same protocol every single time. It’s a very competitive price, not much difference for a better experience while also utilizing my alle points, or perhaps being in while they have a special. I’ve found more pain relief this way. She plays relaxing music, gives me a stress ball and checks in consistently during my appointments. The whole reception/admin team are too sweet and I always feel very respected coming in. I love when I get to meet their dogs! If you are searching for an injector, I could not recommend Andrea at Dr Murphy's office more! She’s the best and her bubbly kind personality makes getting a bunch of shots in my face so much more tolerable!

I wish I could give 1000 stars for this amazing team! Dr. Murphy is an incredible and caring Surgeon! I've had multiple procedures done after losing over 100lbs naturally. Andrea is a wonderful and kind Aesthetic Specialist who is real with you and will talk you through the injectable process. The office coordinators are very welcoming and makes you feel soooo comfortable at each visit. They cheer you on! This team changed my life and saved my life. I look and feel amazing all because of Dr. Murphy's awesome team!! I'm so thankful for them!!

This is my second time going to Dr. Murphy for breast augmentation and both times i couldnt be happier. He is an amazing Dr. his staff is all so kind and professional and his quality of work is superb. I have sent some friends to him and they were also very happy with his work. Strongly recommend him hes the best!
