I got my wisdom teeth removed on Tuesday and am writing this review on Friday. On the day I was getting my wisdom teeth removed, I was expecting to be put to sleep because I had requested anesthesia. Once I got in the room, they put the iv in my arm and I started to feel loopy and then the surgery started and I was still awake. I was awake the whole surgery and could feel all of the pressure of my impacted tooth being removed which was very intense. I started to freak out because of how uncomfortable and scared I was and Dr. Martin was absolutely no help in calming me and just said "You're fine". After my surgery, I realized I had also not been prescribed any pain medication and was on a schedule to take Tylenol and ibuprofen. This schedule was not working for me and I had been in pain ever since getting home so my mom called the office. Dr. Martin called my cell phone later in the day to tell me that it is normal that I am in pain because I had gotten surgery. Keep in mind, I have had oral surgery before (for 2 dental implants) and was in no pain because I was given proper pain medication. The following days my pain continued to get worse to the point I had to call my doctor so she could prescribe me pain medication seeing as Dr. Martin would not. Thursday night, I was in so much pain I thought I might have to go to the ER. My mom was on the phone with another surgeon in the office while my dad was on the phone with Dr. Martin. The surgeon my mom was on the phone with said that I should take 1000mg of Tylenol and 600mg of Motrin immediately, and all Dr. Martin offered was an antibiotic in case I had an infection. NOTHING to help aid my pain. Today I went into the office so I could make sure everything was ok with my mouth, and while I was there Dr. Martin was extremely rude and condescending. My mom was advocating for me saying how much pain I was in and he told her she was wrong. He did not believe us and said that he knows i'm not in pain because he "has been doing this for 25 years". I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a medical professional. I feel as though Dr. Martin is arrogant and chose not to believe me for whatever reason that may be. DO NOT go to Dr. Martin for wisdom teeth removal unless you would like to be in excruciating pain and be treated as though you are an idiot.
Everyone was pleasant and dedicated to patient care. I had a tooth extraction and biopsy. Didn't feel a thing. Very little pain during recovery period. The doctor called personally to see how I was doing. Very satisfied with this facility!
Dr. Martin and his staff have been very knowledgeable, welcoming and comforting. They treat you with respect and consider your emotional state during the procedure without being dismissive, they put you at ease.
Dr. Martin did my tummy tuck six days ago. He listened to all of my concerns, and when came time for surgery made me feel calm and comfortable. I am already happy with my results and highly recommend him!
I had an eye lid lift and couldn’t be happier. Dr. Martin is excellent and his staff is very knowledgable. It was an easy procedure and quick recovery. Wish I did it a little sooner.
