Institute for Plastic Surgery: Otis Allen M.D.

Have had several different treatments here. Dr Allen is a wonderful surgeon and highly recommend.

None of the staff wore masks, which was very alarming given the pandemic. My first impression was that Dr Allen and his staff were inconsiderate of the safety and well-being of their patients. I had an appt because of a cyst in my cheek that I needed removed. Dr Allen explained what the procedure entailed and then since they had me scheduled for a half-hour consult, asked me what questions I had. I didn’t have any. He then proceeded to tell me that I’d need my eyelids done and that I was already losing some peripheral vision. I told him I wasn’t interested and that I believed in aging gracefully. He said, “That works until it doesn’t.” He said, “Don’t worry...it happens to everyone.” I wasn’t worried, I was shocked that this Dr could be SO clueless and incapable of reading his patient. He clearly had his own agenda of making an up-sale and instead lost me as a patient. Horrible experience!

Dr. Otis is awesome. He has a great sense of humor and warmth which makes the patient feel at ease. Staff is very friendly. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. He won’t steer you wrong.

I was referred to Dr. Allen from my general Doctor for some skin concerns on my face and nose. Dr. Allen thoroughly checked the areas and did some biopsies. The area on my nose ended up needing surgery to remove problem tissue. Dr. Allen performed the surgery and did a great job and the area has healed nicely with no scar. Dr. Allen speaks in easy to understand terms and is great at putting you at ease about the process.

Don't give this man your hard earned money. Because as good as his work is, he does not stand by that work. His facade of a caring and kind physician is fake. I paid for a warranty which the manufacturer upholds but he won't fix his mistake. He's got his money and that's all he cares about.
