Dr.Shore is the best - she is extremely knowledgeable and professional and listens to your needs. She is a master at her craft- her staff Giselle is incredible as well . She was a referral to me from another physician . I met with a handful of other providers prior to choosing her and I am extremely happy with my results. Would definitely recommend her. I recently had my top surgery (ftm) done by Dr. Alison Shore from Lakeview Plastic Surgery. I wanted to share my experience since I am just so happy with the care and results that I received! I received excellent, attentive care at every step of the process from Dr. Shore and Giselle, her patient coordinator. While the whole process took a long time (Dr. Shore is a popular surgeon who is booked up far in advance) it was more than worth the wait! From consultation, to pre-op, to surgery, to my post-op care, everything has been stellar and I couldn't be happier with my results. Overall, I felt well taken care of by Dr. Shore and Giselle at every step of my process. Their communication is frequent and they are very easy to reach. They approached every interaction with humor and kindness which, as someone with anxiety, put me greatly at ease. My pronouns were used and respected by her, Giselle, and every medical professional I encountered on her team at the hospital. I am EXTREMELY happy with my surgery results, I finally feel like my body accurately reflects who I am. I cannot recommend Dr. Shore of Lakeview Plastic Surgery high enough! (Note: I have seen conflicting things online about Dr. Shore having a BMI requirement for top surgery. I want to share that Dr. Shore told me during my consultation that she does not have a BMI requirement for top surgery. My BMI was around 30 at the time of the consult (roughly 200lbs). If anything, she was more concerned about if I was a smoker (I'm not) than what my weight was in terms of risk factors for surgery.)

Dr. Shore is amazing. She is a highly skilled surgeon but is also incredibly kind, direct, personable, funny, and she cares deeply. My surgery was great, but my nerves had a strong reaction post-surgery and she has been wonderful as we’ve worked through that together. Giselle is also fantastic and kind. I could not have asked for anything better and am truly grateful to know Dr Shore. If you are considering her, don’t hesitate, even though the wait is long. It is 100 percent worth it.

I am so glad I worked with Dr. Shore. From the start she approached me with empathy and care, answering all my questions and helping me navigate the often complicated medical system. I cried after my consultation because a medical professional took me seriously. I cried in our first post op appointment when I got to see my chest for the first time because of her work to make me look like me. I cannot recommend Dr. Shore enough, she is transparent, professional, and above all deeply invested in the wellbeing of her patients. Additionally, her staff member Giselle goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and seen. She is endlessly energetic and rooting for you. I cannot recommend this team enough.

I'm about 6-7 weeks post op with Dr. Shore from a breast reduction and so far I'm incredibly impressed. I feel like she was able to give me the exact aesthetic I was looking for and I really like her bedside manner-she's very kind, very empathetic and makes you feel comfortable. I don't usually wait very long in the waiting room and if they are running behind or heavy on appointments, Giselle always lets me know so I can push back 10-15 minutes on the follow ups and not wait in the waiting room. Giselle and Dr. Shore are also some of the only medical professionals in the city that know how to work with insurance to ensure the best coverage in regards to plastic surgery. I tried to call around for a second opinion at the beginning of the process (Dr. Shore was the first surgeon I consulted with) and almost no one was willing to work with insurance for breast reduction for chronic back pain and sciatica.
