Southern Illinois Dermatology

I am extremely happy with the quality of service at Southern Illinois Dermatology. I came in for a first time appointment quickly. The follow up appointments was no problem at all, very easy to schedule. My care with Dr. Vanacker was amazing. He knew exactly what needed to be done and immediately performed the procedure. Everything is healing well, and I am very impressed at the quality of the care given. I highly recommend Southern Illinois for your skin care needs!

Dr. Ted Vanacker is incredible. Not only has he taken care of my rash, but he is also wonderful to speak with at every appointment. It is very rare to find a doctor that combines personal touches and care. He delivers outstanding quality of medical care. His staff has always been warm and welcoming at each encounter. Not only would I recommend this practice, but I have done just that.

Dirty office... appointment at 7:00 am appointment... no showed up untill 7:10 am.. and the the Doctor left a lipoma sticking out of my thumb...

I had to go to the University of Iowa Dermatology in Iowa City Iowa to get a good dermatologist and results. Their so called Dermatologist is not even a doctor!! She has very poor knowledge. I live in Vandalia Illinois and ended driving 6 hours to Iowa City to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. I am completely cured. After being harrassed for payment after sending them too much money to begin with they hung on to my check for 9 months before they deposited during that 9 months I knew I had paid them. Then I call to get my money back that I overpaid them and the staff was rude and said I had to wait two weeks. Never again. This place is not recommended. They need real doctors and polite and courteous staff which they lack both.

Dr. Ted VanAcker is amazing! He was the only one that could diagnosis a rare skin rash I had. He was so thoughtful and the love for his work shows! Best dermatologist out there.
