The staff at Illinois Dermatology is outstanding. They are welcoming kind & compassionate to say the very least. Brenda, the nurse practitioner is amazing. Both she and Dr. O'donahue take the time to listen to your questions and concerns. They are never in a hurry to get onto the next patient. I highly recommend them. If you have something that needs addressed urgently, they will do their very best to get you in right away. They call when they say they're going to call and do what they say they're going to do

Arrived for my appointment and I finished updating my insurance information and was called back immediately to the examining room. The nurse came in immediately to make note of any concerns. The doctor came in within 10 minutes for my exam. Dr Odonoghue was very thorough with the exam and explained everything he found. Great bedside manner, didn’t feel I was rushed at all.

Dr. O'Donoghue and staff are excellent. There was little waiting time and everyone is quite knowledgeable and courteous. Dr. O'Donoghue was very thorough and immediately recognized several areas that needed attention and corrected them. He is extremely friendly and very down to earth. I would be happy to recommend him to any person who feels they need a dermatologist. You will be very pleased with the service and the expertise you will receive.

Made an appointment the other day. Got a call this morning saying that I was not on my husbands insurance. I have been on my husbands insurance for 25 years. I called insurance co. They couldn't figure out why they would say that. So I called back thinking they might have wrong information. I called, I called, I called, and no one could help me for 4 hours. Then I finally called the appointment setters desk to just cancel. She said I did not even have an appointment. hahahahahaha I am like if their office is that messed up can't imagine how the dr keeps his paperwork straight from one client to the next. TOTALLY DISSATISFIED!!

My first impressions/experience with Dr. O’Donoghue was actually when my wife went in for a check. It took awhile to resolve and all my wife could say about the Doc was how compassionate and caring he was throughout the entire process!!! Then it was my turn to see a Dermatologist. Based on my wife’s recommendation I knew straight away who to see …. Holding true to my wife’s experience, Dr. O’Donoghue was straight up, took time to listen, was open to comments and concerns and was just a genuine person!! (Plus he did try his hand at triathlon!!) For all your dermatology concerns Dr. O’Donoghue should be No. 1 on your list!!
