Northshore Dermatology- Hammond

Ashlyn was really hands on and made me feel super comfortable and really listened to what was going on. It was a refreshing change from the previous provider that I had at a different establishment. The office was quiet and clean. Everyone I spoke with while there from the front desk to the nurse was very kind and friendly.

I had a wonderful experience with the service, where I was promptly attended to and efficiently assisted. It was impressive how quickly I was in and out, without feeling rushed. The staff was attentive and ensured all my needs were met during my visit.

Do NOTTTT. I never write reviews unless a business deems it necessary, but this office has earned it. Upon my first visit, the nurse practitioner who saw us slurred her words and seemed out of it, even stumbling to the side while she was standing still. I didn't know if there was a medical reason, and maybe there is. So, I trusted that this person was able to carry out their duties because this was a reputable office as far as I knew but something was definitely off. Fast forward to my daughter requesting a treatment that is well known to treat an acne outbreak very quickly (she had a dance coming up) and the NP "had never heard of it" and acted like we were misinformed. She turned us down until I informed her a friend who works at another office uses it all the time to treat their patients and she looked it up and decided to use it. (It worked temporarily as it was supposed to, btw) Every single time we come to our monthly visit for accutane, they walk in and act like the NP, DR and Nurse have no clue what is going on. We have to clarify things constantly. Every single time. Most visits, they seem to think she's is starting her treatment although she's been on it for months. It's happened more than once. Then, they stopped her treatment before she reached the six months mark (typical treatment time) even though she's still having breakouts. Other offices treat two months past the patient is clear to make sure the regiment doesn't have to be repeated in the future. They have refused, even though we begged. To be a dermatologist office looking at a child who is broken out and still oily and say the treatment is done is ludicrous. They don't know what they are doing compared to other offices in the area. I urge you to go elsewhere.

First of all… All of these ladies are super sweet & nice! Dr. C did an amazing job on my cyst removal. After removing my stitches, they also noticed some eczema on my face and treated me for that too.

Very satisfied with my visit! Dr. Coscarart and assistants were very nice and professional. She squeezed me in her busy schedule for a cyst removal. Everything was very comfortable, didn't feel any pain. I would definitely recommend seeing them!
