Anne Arundel Dermatology - Columbia

I initially waited over two months for an appt for my child with Dr. Wheat. The front office staff was lovely. The wait to get into a room was quite long and the wait to see the provider was even longer. We waited almost an hour after our scheduled appointment time. The appointment was rushed and the Dr made a diagnosis without physically looking at my child's skin. I actually had to ask her if she was planning to look at his skin as she was preparing to leave the room (she looked at photos on my phone). She asked me to get him undressed and she left the room and went to see the patient next door (waited an additional 10 minutes for her to return). We were prescribed a medication that required a PA (that took over a week to receive from the provider). The medication was denied and it has been over three weeks and we have not received an alternate prescription. There are no responses to the Klara messages, no one answers the phone and no one returns voicemails. I would cancel my follow up appointment but no one answers those calls either. Edit: The office finally called me back after 20 days to tell me my PA was denied which I already knew because I sent the info to them in the portal two weeks ago. I think it’s interesting that the person replying to reviews only responds to positive reviews.

Love the front office and phone staff. They have always been incredible. In my opinion I found Dr Clark to be dismissive and she appeared to have no interest in listening to me. Hope it was an off day. I spent more time with her medical assistant and chose to leave, requested my copay to be refunded and the name of the office that the doctor I wanted to see in the first place had moved to.

Dr. Clarke is compassionate, caring and the very definition of a consummate medical practitioner. She is very patient, understanding and has, what my mother used to call, a wonderful "bedside manner". She takes the time to explain everything and answers all my questions -- in plain English. She has a calming quality that puts me at ease.

Mackenzie Doshi is truly amazing. I have been seeing her for over a year now and she has an amazing bed side manner and makes her patients feel so comfortable and cared for. I am so glad to be under her care for various Dermatologic issues. She is great at what she does and I appreciate her and her friendly staff very much. Highly recommend her.

Dr Clarke and all the associates are fantastic! Dr Clarke takes the time to explain everything she is looking at. She also takes the time to review her finding and recommend action i need to take to keep my skin healthy.
