I initially had my review up and took it down after I spoke with the doctor on the phone and she told me she was very upset about my one-star review. After just recently going to my primary care doctor and realizing that one of my main concerns for seeing Dr. George back in October was for planters warts on the bottom of my foot and she assured me they weren’t and prescribed me a $80 wart remover that I used over the next 2 months. They never went away. Went to my PCP and low and behold they are planters warts. Rushed appointments, rude office staff, she will make you come back for another appointment if she needs to freeze anything off. My advice, do not come here.
I had a visit in February and had several issues with the care I received including lack of education on the condition I was diagnosed with and the treatment I received. I tried to provide feedback and express my concerns but I could not find an e-mail and the messaging app on the patient portal does not include any of the providers at this office or any in Missouri. Given the concerns I have about my visit and the difficulty in providing feedback and having those concerns addressed, I will not be going back to this office.
Awful, if you have any skin problems other than botox and cosmetic procedures Dr. Mary George will tell you she can’t help you and spend 5 minutes in the room. She told me to go see other dermatologist, made me feel like I was abnormal. Didn’t listen well and was stuck up.
Went there and the doctor kept citrin me off before I could finish telling her my symptoms and parts of my body that was affected. She kept brushing me off and almost rushed away before I was finished describing. I asked her to give me some info about why the was happening, she just said “we don’t know, know one knows.” That’s fine, but she didn’t explain or tell me anything. I don’t even know what the name of the condition on my face is called, because she just wrote me a prescription and left. One of the prescriptions was really expensive and neither seems to even be working. Don’t go to a doctor that will treat you like a timed exam, but as a human being. I was so offended and disappointed that I cried in my car after the appointment. It felt like she didn’t even care. I felt that I wasn’t helped, and that I was an inconvenience. I had an appointment, I took the time to come in and be on time. she still acted like I was some inconvenient walk-in that she had to rush around. I will not be going back and I don’t recommend. Sorry for the grammar.
Dr George has terrible bedside manner. She scolded me for not using a specific place to have my allergy patch testing when they wouldn’t call me back to book an appointment! When I asked if there were any natural remedies she would recommend for my eczema to limit use of steroid cream, she said “I’m a doctor of medicine. I’m not going to recommend a natural remedy.” How about doing what’s best for your patient?! I will never go back.
