Restorative Injectables

Due to what I feel is a necessity, this is going to be a rather lengthy review. About 9 months ago, I had my first appointment with Lindsay; dermaplaning and the “Perfect Peel.” I truly believed I had found “my” aesthetician, and I also believe Lindsay is gifted at what she does. After an extended vacation in Los Angeles for about 8 months , I was so excited to get back in with Lindsay, which I did. About a month ago, I booked the same two procedures. After the peel, I knew something wasn’t right. The hyperpigmentation on my face was greatly exacerbated, but I waited a couple weeks to see if things might “turn around,” however they didn’t. So, a couple weeks ago, I started trying to contact RI. I was told the owner was out of town, but would relay the message, and that he/she (don’t know if the owner is a male or female), would call me. Yet, I never heard back. In the meantime, I made an appointment with my cosmetic dermatologist; Dr. Kimberly Jerdan (she is amazing), and had two laser treatments to reduce the hyperpigmentation, which she said was a direct result of the “Perfect Peel.” It will probably take another 3 treatments. So, yesterday I tried calling RI twice, yet no one answered. Today I tried twice, with no answer, so I decided to hit star 67 before dialing the number, someone immediately answered the phone. When I told the lady who I was, she hung up on me. So, this afternoon I decided to just go to RI. Almost immediately after walking in, I was told the police were on their way. I said, “Okay. I’ll wait for them to arrive, since I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong.” The receptionist told me their computer and phone system were down, and that’s why they couldn’t take my phone calls, yet upon arriving, their computer and phone system were up and running. I tried to talk to them about what I experienced after the “Perfect Peel.” This was their response, “ You’re skin looks fine, and anyway you told everyone here you struggle with addiction, so nothing you tell us is trustworthy.” I was so hurt and flabbergasted. I only told one person (Lindsay) about my struggle with addiction, so if any other staff member is aware of it, the only explanation is that she told them. But to use someone’s deep, painful and personal struggle as a way to dismiss them is unconscionable. I can’t remember ever being treated like “trash” before, but I was today. The point is, things can go wrong when signing up for a cosmetic procedure. That’s the risk you take. But to avoid having a discussion with your client, and use your personal experience in such a hurtful way, is actually quite disturbing. There are other excellent med spas in Oklahoma; Radiance Medical Aesthetics, Skin Studio of Oklahoma, Gimme Sugars, and Renew Wellness and Aesthetics. Dr. Jerdan is correcting the cosmetic damage that was done, and I’m quite pleased with the results thus far. But it will take some time to get past the hurt of how I was treated today.

I love this service! Not only is it a great value, but everyone is so nice and helpful. They are also very generous with the Botox! I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Restorative is the absolute best! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Lindsay is AMAZING and leaves my skin looking incredible. She gives me insights on products and her facials are the best quality. Lacy is incredible at Botox. She makes you feel comfortable and informed about your injections.
