Dr. Rice is a wonderful dermatologist. She has great attention to detail with everything from esthetic concerns to annual cancer checks and mole removal. She is kind, thorough, and does excellent work.

Scheduled an appointment 4 months out. I called the day before I was scheduled in order to confirm the appointment time. When I informed the office staff that I would not be using my insurance and I would be paying out of pocket I was told I would have to show up in person and pay $50.00 and then need to reschedule the appointment I'd had locked in for 4 months because they had ASSUMED I would be using insurance and it was office policy to operate that way. This makes ZERO sense. Why would I need to reschedule the appointment I'd had scheduled for 4 months simply because I'm going to pay at the time of service with cash? I was then told that it was so they could get another patient to fill in for my appointment time. Excuse me? I didn't cancel my appointment! I simply was going to pay cash for it. Why would you need to take my appointment spot away and get someone else in? In what world does this make sense? I'm considering taking this to a larger platform such as the local news and every bit of social media I can find. This is shady, senseless business and I'm tired of getting burned by the medical community. Apparently this office policy has been decided on by the doctors who work here. I'm glad they saved me the time and money because a business like this couldn't possibly have competent medical staff on hand. I would give a rating of 0 stars if possible.

Dr. Rice was prompt, pleasant and professional during my visit today. She explained what she was doing during the exam. I received educational materials on melanoma and prevention of sunburn. The office staff was very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Rice!

I tried to make an appointment but the office staff was not familiar with my insurance. Instead of checking that they are in network, I was told they can make the appointment but I'll be responsible for all charges. I did explain that I found their name on my insurance website as a provider but the office staff was to lazy or just didn't care to help verify. They will not be getting my business.

I could not have been more impressed with Dr. Rice and her nurse Taryn! They were quick, efficient, and professional but also friendly and kind.
