Great experience. I was able to get in quickly (a few weeks) for my initial appointment and my follow-ups (a few business days). I also needed a rx between appointments and it was called in to my pharmacy within36 hrs. Katie has been great helping me with skin care - prevention and taking care of my sun damaged skin.
Went here to help me uncover a possible skin condition due to chronic symptoms. The first thing out of the doctor’s mouth was a comment about my hairline and how I’d go bald without minoxidil. I told him that I, my father, his brothers, and my grandfather were born with this hairline and I have baby pictures if he wants confirmation. I then thanked him for his concern and reminded him I was here for skin problems. He then said “yea yea but I really think you should start minoxidil or you’ll be a part of the no hair club in 5 years.” I tried being less polite and more assertive since he seemed to have problems listening. I told him to drop my hairline, I’m not here about my hairline, I don’t care about my hairline, and I look good bald so if it happens then it happens. I want help with my skin. I’ve tried changing soaps, shampoos, conditioners, I went from hot showers to cold showers, time spent in the shower, laundry detergent, vitamins, and I got blood work done and nothing worked so I need your help figuring out my issue. He continued to ignore me and kept pushing for the minoxidil. I told him I have cats and minoxidil is poisonous to cats so there is nothing he can say to convince me plus its side effects are not something I want to risk anyway. He didn’t stop. I must have spent 20 minutes trying to get this snake oil salesman who at this point it was plain as day he gets some kind of kickback for prescribing this medication when I have up. I told him fine send me a prescription for minoxidil but can you also send me something for my skin to try? He said that was fine. Does anyone want to guess what I found when I went to my pharmacy? Minoxidil. You want to guess what WASN’T there? Anything else. Go anywhere else for your dermatologist needs. If you really want the experience of being here then tell the nearest garbage can your medical concerns then set a few hundred dollars on fire, it will be quicker.
The office is really good. I went there in January for my eczema and the staff was really good with me. They took my insurance and everything. My dermatologist she was really helpful and nice and she took care of me. S/o to Katie shes dope 💯👏🏾
Today was my first visit there and they would be my first recommendation if you require their type of service(s). I was able to get an appointment rather quickly, they have a very friendly staff and very clean office...that means alot to me. The timing from when I walked in until I was done with my appointment was extremely quick. As long as this stay the same level of service, I will be back. Thank you. Michele Williams
Checkin was organized and the staff were friendly. Joy was the person that took me to the room. Friendly, personable and professional. Greg, the PA that did my exam was friendly, professional and very thorough. Looked over everything and explained what he saw. I highly recommend this office.
