Dr. Peterlin and her team are truly fantastic. Dr. Peterlin listens to all concerns, answers questions effectively, and is a superior advocate for her patients. She is highly knowledgeable and truly compassionate, I never leave her office with any frustrations or concerns. She has worked with me to help manage my chronic migraines, and has developed a personal treatment plan that has worked wonders.

Dr Peterlin did in 3 months what 2 other neurologists couldn’t do in 10 months! What she did was night and day difference from the other neurologists! My daughter had severe migraines almost everyday for 10 months, had to drop out of school, couldn’t take noise or bright light! She has maybe 1 headache a week and gets it under control in 3-4 hours! Incredible! Not only is she excellent in what she does, she is the kindest and most caring doctor you will have the pleasure to work with! Thank you Dr Peterlin for helping my daughter!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dr. Peterlin is truly a lifesaver. I experienced "headaches" as I called them for most of my life, however in 2019 I experienced a pretty sever accident that caused a significant amount of trauma to my head, which in turn increased these "headaches" in frequency and intensity. I did not end up going to Dr. Peterlin until about 2 years later in 2021, because my "headaches" got so bad that they would just last for days on end and they hurt so bad I'd just sit in my basement with the lights off to do anything for relief, on top of that I was taking roughly a bottle of Excedrin Migraine a week. I googled "headache specialists in PA" and thankfully happened to call Dr. Peterlin's office first, and hearing about her experience and studies in migraines it seemed pretty clear this was where I needed to go. I was a bit concerned with the price and the not taking my insurance directly, and I mean this very literally, if I knew where I'd be today, versus where I was back then, I'd have taken out a loan if that's what I would have to do to see her. I went from having what I learned were migraines, almost every single day of the month, to now having less than 6 migraine days a month, and with a very tolerable severity if I do get them. Since my last appointment about a month ago, I've had 2 migraines at all, both were taken care of pretty quickly. Dr. Peterlin does not just push a bunch of different drugs and a bunch of different new studies. She gave me options and asked me questions to help me find what was going to the be most effective and the most cost effective option for me. She took the time to share her experiences with migraines personally, and explained how to pinpoint things that are triggers, but also things that are indicating I am working up to a migraine so that I can handle them proactively, not only reactively. If you are here, and you are looking for somebody to help you, and you are experiencing any sort of migraines or severed headaches. Stop looking and just call, this is the person you need to see.

Dr. Peterlin is currently treating my chronic, intractable migraines, which I've had for over 20 years. I have had about a 10% reduction in frequency and 30% reduction in intensity since working with her, which is amazing, but I still feel like she is personally invested in helping me improve even more. She did the most thorough workup of any doctor I have seen, including pulling a stack of current science journal articles to research an uncommon medication I am on. I've never felt our appointments were rushed. I've never felt gaslight - if anything, she's encouraged me to be honest at how frequent they are. While she doesn't take insurance, she knows how to work with it and local pharmacies for reimbursements and copay assistance. She helped me understand which lifestyle changes have been shown to be effective, but didn't make me feel obligated to do them all *before* receiving effective medication. Finally, she is very familiar with the new types of medications, procedures and how to combine them. My husband sees her for migraine with aura and was prescribed different meds and recommendations.

Dr Peterlin at the Pennsylvania Headache Center is outstanding. I have had migraines for decades and have been treated by a myriad of clinicians, and tried dozens of different treatments and medications. She is the first neurologist to do an in depth assessment, and most importantly to take me seriously, and look at the total person which includes a patient's support system. She always seems to have options available to improve or enhance treatment. But, most importantly, she has never once "given up" on me or felt that we were "at the end of the road". This has truly been a partnership between doctor and patient! If you suffer with migraines - the PA Headache Center is where you want to go for treatment.
