Dr. Rinna Johnson, MD

After reading the negative reviews , I approached my appointment with some trepidation. I needn't have worried. From check-in to checkout, everyone I interacted with was pleasant and professional. Dr Johnson was so nice. By the time she was done treating and talking to me, I was so relaxed and assured on what I needed to do to complete my treatment. I was in and out the door before it was my appointment time. I would recommend these nice folks to anyone.

I've been going to Dr. Johnson for over 16 years. She's extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She's taken care of my problems without any issues, and is very skilled and proficient. I'm always more than satisfied with her manner, her care, and my outcomes. The office folks have always been wonderful.

I've never felt more like just a number than Dr Johnson made me feel. She shoved a couple of pamphlets at me and said read these. I was there right before lunch and she must've been hungry. She didn't want to hear any questions at all and after she left, the medical assistant came in and shared that the Dr told her in an exasperated tone what I told her. Made me feel so unimportant. I have an appointment coming up that y'all can just cancel.

I rarely post anything but feel compelled to write a review. I have been seeing Dr Johnson for keloid scar treatment and in my opinion is very kind and personable. She doesn't treat you with unnecessary procedures and have actually told me do not need to come anymore unless something new comes up. Some people may say she is quick and to the point but I kind of like it. Maybe it's because I know what my condition is and what the treatment is. My mom referred her to me and told me a story that one time Dr Johnson treated my sister who did not have insurance at the time and just billed a low priced office visit.

I'm not usually one to publicly post a poor review. However, I do think that our healthcare professionals should be held to a high standard. During my very quick visit, Dr. Johnson was hardly willing to listen to me or my concerns at all. I left my appointment feeling like it was a waste of my time and money as she was more concerned with a small zit on my face rather than my long genetic history of melanoma. She was very dismissive and short with me, and I will not be returning.
