Front office staff that answered my call was really clueless, and seemed like they could care less about the questions I had. I said I work until 3 so I would have to have an appointment after 3. The lady then says “does 3:15 work?” I said yes because I work about 5 mins away from there. She said I would need to show up 15 mins early. I again said I can’t leave work until 3 but I could get there some time between 3:05-3:10. She said we have to have you here 15 mins prior to your 3:15 appointment. I then asked “well why would you schedule me when I told you I can’t leave work until 3?” She didn’t respond. I then said if I have all the new patient paperwork done online why do I need to be there 15 mins prior? She again had no response. So I then asked if I could talk to another person. I asked the new person the same thing and she said if you are here by your 3:15 appointment you should be fine, but that’s my decision. I about cancelled my appointment, but the doctors have good reviews so I’m going to give it one more try. Hopefully they are better than the staff that are answering the phones. Will update review once I see the doctors.

I have nothing against Shane Farr because I didn’t even get the chance to meet him but I will say his front desk employees are terrible. I called a month ago to book an appointment for Thursday at 11:15am. I get a call the day prior (Wednesday) by a front desk employee confirming my appointment and getting more info. At the end of the call she then says “please arrive 15 min before your appointment to complete paperwork and if you’re 5 min late past your scheduled time of 11:15 they’ll reschedule the appointment” because of how my work is I was able to get to Shane’s office at 11:15 knowing that’s when the appointment was. She said if I don’t have the paperwork filled out within that 5 min they’ll reschedule it. So I canceled the appointment because especially because they failed to mention that on my first phone call when I scheduled or I would’ve scheduled it for 11:30am. Because of the front desk person I won’t be referring anyone to Shane Farr. One bad apple ruins a bunch :)

No care or consideration for their patients. It is only about them and their financial gain from you. Categorize them along with other slimy medical providers - the ones who aren’t patient focused. I was hesitant before because of some of the reviews I came across - all concerns were confirmed the moment I walked in. A 5 minute no-show is absolutely BIZARRE for a health clinic. It is important to respect provider’s time - that is why most clinics have a 15 standard rule. 5 minutes!? Their world, you’re just a crumb in it. It is not us they care for. ALWAYS find a provider who values you - they exist. Just not here. Hi Owner, Thank you for your prompt reply. I see this complaint a lot throughout your reviews, so I assumed you would be quick on it. If you expect your "new patients" to arrive 15 minutes early, then schedule their appointment at your expected arrival time. Surely the 15 minute expectation is not to complete the paperwork I filled out one week ago, is it? Because in addition to that, scanning an insurance card and ID takes approximately 90 seconds if competent. Most clinics have a standard 15 minute rule, this is not uncommon. Its important providers time is considered and valued. 15 minutes also allows space for minor human error - an accident, difficulty finding your location, maybe even the construction I faced today. 15 minutes promotes balance - reasonable time for providers and understanding when working with humans, there will be human error. You have a 5 minute no-show rule. I walked in at minute 6 (SIX) and was turned away. I had to make a U turn at construction - 45 second delay. I took the stairs instead of the elevator - additional 15 second delay. You are so incredibly busy you cannot accommodate your patients being 60 seconds late? Is this a scheduling error? Some offices take on more than they can manage, that doesn't generally promote adequate patient care. I understand the importance of providers time - your patients time should matter too. Reasonably. This isn't reasonable. Hence the increase of negative reviews stating so. I know, this might be difficult to see as we are the ones in need of your care - but we work, we take time off work, I found and paid for childcare to attend this appointment. I was 1 minute beyond your rule. Rules are rules - I get it. I wish our healthcare system valued their patients differently - if your goal was patient care, I along with several others would feel that walking into your office.

I am not one to write reviews. However, I had such a negative experience that I hope this review will help this clinic change. I was stuck behind a car accident and could not move- this cause me to be 13 minutes late to my appointment. I live an hour away and left from work with 10 minutes to spare. Mind you, I am supposed to be seen once a month however, they can only fit me in once every 3 months. This has caused my condition to get much worse. I called and told them my situation and that I was going to be late. They told me to cancel and reschedule. I would have to wait another 3 months. This will cause much worse symptoms. I’m a clinic nurse, I completely understand staying on schedule. However, I have always gone out of my way to help my patients. I felt completely dismissed and felt like this clinic does not care about the patient care experience. If they did, I would have gotten more than a “come back in another 3 months”. I can’t wait 6 months. If they need me to be seen once a month, then there needs to be a way for me to actually be seen once a month. I hope this will cause a change. Again, I understand a late policy. What I don’t understand is not helping a patient who has always been early, kind, and is in need of help. I will not be returning to this clinic.

Dr. Brummer is amazing! Her bedside manner is fantastic and I’ve already recommended her to a family member.
