Craig R. Dufresne, MD, FACS

Dr. Dufresne is an amazing doctor. I have seen him over the years for several different treatments--both surgical and non surgical. He has a masters skill, an artistic eye and a caring knowledgeable demeanor. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for any procedure.

Dr. Craig Dufresne is truly one of the greatest plastic surgeons in the world. And I say that because I know through his generosity and kindness to the less fortunate, he has worked around the world. Of course you would never know from him as he is so humble but he is the best of the best! I had first heard of Dr. Craig Dufresne's name when my beautiful young neighbor who was our children's babysitter was in a horrible accident. She was almost home on a rainy night and in trying to get to her purse unbuckled for a second and in that time looking down when she looked up she had to swerve to avoid hitting another car. Her beautiful face went through the windshield. Her parents obviously stayed at the hospital with her until the surgery was over. While they were waiting both a nurse and a doctor came out to reassure she was truly in the best hands possible and they were so blessed with the talented surgeon who happened to be in the ER that night. It was Dr. Craig Dufresne who after the surgery came out and sat with them for a while gently explaining everything and what was ahead for her. When my neighbor came home she told me that her daughter was doing well and that a miracle occurred that night as one of the most renowned plastic surgeons was on duty that night.( I think one of the nurses had told her that Dr. Dufresne was going to be interviewed on something like 60 minutes.) Don't quote me on the exact show. If you can imagine what happens to your face when you go through a windshield but today there is not one mark on this sweet girl. She recently got married and was probably one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen. I had mentioned to her at the wedding that I was going to see Dr. Dufresne and she asked me to thank him again for being in the ER that night. Needless to say I kept Dr. Craig Dufresne's name in my book in the chance that I would ever needed to recommend someone that was excellent. I would continue to read about him and his accomplishments. Just unbelievable!!!I can only imagine some of his VIP clients. Well six years later my little girl had really scratched her cheek in going under the bed and as a result of turning her face the metal of the mattress gouged her cheek. The incision was 2 inches at least. We were going to bring her to the pediatric care as I didn't know if Dr. Dufresne would even do pediatric. However, I was able to bring her right in to see him and with his plan of what to do as of this day she has no marks at all on her cheek. He was so incredible and kind with my little one. The decades pass and one of my little grandchildren by accident had a bad burn and we were so afraid of the scarring but again with my daughter knowing of the reputation of Dr. Dufresne she called him right away. She was so relieved and reassured with his knowledge, she knew it was going to be okay. And it was. You will notice I have not even begun with my review but he is so revered by my family and I wanted you to know how I met him. I have know him for four decades. I will do another review of just how much he has made a difference in my life.

I had a negative experience with Dr Dufresne. I had a chin implant and rhinoplasty. I did a lot of research to find him but I think he is not a good surgeon. I just got the nose fixed and the new surgeon said there was a lot of scar tissue and cartilage missing. Really concerning. I think Dr Dufresne Is not a good surgeon but has a reputation that has lasted for many years. Trust me find another doctor. There are so many good ones in the DC area you don’t need to go to him.

Dr. Dufresne is a 10-star plastic surgeon. His expertise is beyond superior, and he is also kind, gentle, and patient. With his talented nurses and staff, it is a fabulous experience with Dr. Dufresne.

Dr. Dufresne and his team provide exceptional care with skill and compassion. He always offers detailed explanations and shows extraordinary depth of expertise. I would not look further than Dr. Dufresne.
