Dr. Hein is absolutely AMAZING! She gave me my confidence back after my breast cancer treatment with her amazing work. I had a double breast reduction and reconstruction after my lumpectomy/lymph node removal. She accounted for the fact that I would have radiation after the surgery to make sure I would achieve as much symmetry as possible. Recovery and healing was smooth sailing under her and her team’s care, they were with me every step of the way! My scarring is so minimal, because of her I can look in the mirror and feel like myself without the constant reminder of cancer. I am beyond happy with my results, she’s the absolute best!

She has a lovely manner and cares about you. She will walk you through your procedure so you fully understand what exactly will be done and how. I had arrived to my first visit with a list of questions and Dr Hein was patient and thorough in answering all of them. I left fully prepared for my surgery. On the day of my procedure her team made me feel totally at ease and completely comfortable. They were upbeat, kind and reassuring, which helped me relax. I know this was a team that had so much experience working together. The outcome was exactly how I was hoping and I’m happy that I chose Dr. Hein as my surgeon.

Dr Hein and her team performed surgery during my mastectomy and then did the reconstruction. They were kind during a very difficult period. They were informative, but not clinical - very warm. They helped me to understand my options and provided me with the information I needed to make a decision, and then supported it. They made a bad situation much less horrible than it could have been. They got to know me and my husband as people, not as just a patient. In the end, I was happy with the results, which has been great for my mental health and ability to move forward.

Dr. Hein was incredible during my breast cancer journey. I never imagined my breast reconstruction could look so good after going through a double mastectomy. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and talented in her craft, she also had so much compassion during my recovery. I appreciated her direct approach in answering all of my questions and letting me know what was feasible in my particular situation. The icing on the cake is that she has the most diligent, kind and supportive team working alongside her. Every interaction with each member of her staff was truly a pleasure, namely Heather, Sharon and Dany. I’m extremely happy with the work she did, am glad to be on the other side of this journey and honestly feel like the process couldn’t have gone more seamless given the situation.
